I have been out of the loop...
I used ******** in 2002 and Rabbit was our driver. LOVED the service.
I am now going back in June and wanted to use them again. Their website won't come up.
What did I miss?
Oh, and why the asterics when I type the word ********?

Obviously I can't tell who you're talking about, but a couple of companies decided to spam the boards here as a way to drum up business. Needless to say, that was not well received and some company names are now "filtered" and replaced with the asterix you see.
The company you are talking about was sold maybe a year or so ago. I believe there were issues with the new buyers and they were subsequently removed from the boards.

Just to set the record straight - the problems happened before and after the company was sold - I do not believe it was anything to do with the new owners. - Trekker

LOL, Duh. When you wrote that I just laughed at myself cause apparently I figured posters would just "know" who I was talking about. Silly me.

Majority of posters seem to like FL Tours and Tiffany Towncar. FL Tours is a board sponser.

I booked a towncar company based on several recommendations on this board. How do I know that this is not the company discussed? I'm concerned about this asterisk business. Why not identify the company having the problems so the buyer can be aware?

I have had two outstanding experiences so far with Florida Tours, particularly Andy. The cars were clean, the drivers very friendly (but also willing to be quiet when I needed a little rest), included a grocery stop and told me to "take my time" and wasn't the least upset when it took me 45 minutes instead.
I had a complicated itinerary that involved getting taken to the Universal area, to the Arena, to Disney, each leg of the trip they were on time and finally Andy stopped accepting our tips insisiting that we had "paid him enough" so it was a wonderful experience and can't wait to use him again this fall!
