schedule of weeks to avoid??

Is there a schedule somewhere of all the specials weeks and goings-on at WDW? Last year we ended up there on Jersey week and do NOT want to do that again. I'm interested in either April-May or Sept - Oct 2005.

A good rule of thumb is... If the kids are out of school, they are at Disney! Any long weekends or Spring Breaks are packed.

April/May - avoid Easter and Memorial Day weeks for sure.

September/October - steer clear on Labor Day and Columbus Day weekends.

Another busy day: The 1st Saturday of June is Gay Day at the MK and the MK is very crowded that day.

I have visited during Memorial Day week and have found the parks and resorts not crowded during the week. Many kids are still in school during that week (Tuesday through Friday). The 3-day weekend portion of Memorial Day week, especially Saturday and Sunday, seemed more crowded, but many people leave the area on Monday. Memorial Day is the last Monday in May.

Being a Canadian, when are the Labour Day and Colombus Day weekends?

Labor day is the first Monday in September.

This year Columbus Day is October 11. I don't know if it is always October 11, or always the second Monday in October - like your Thanksiving!

FYI - Memorial Day is always the last Monday in May.
