Ok.. I've been doing Atkins for almost two weeks now and I lost 7 lbs in my first week but this week I have lost nothing. My husband thinks I've lost some inches and I probably have since I know that you lose inches when you are not losing pounds sometimes.
Well I haven't really been moving much and I think I need to get out there and start burning these calories off!!!!
My cousin just joined curves and loves it so maybe that will be something I can also get into. So I'm going to stop by today and talk to them and see about joining up. I need to do something to see some more results so I don't lose interest!!!!! Wish me luck !!!:) :)

Good luck - I wish you the best. I've been thinking about joining curves myself - for the weight loss, but more the the strengthing and conditioning. I'm having a lot of problems with joint pain and think it's because I'm so out of shape. Hope it will do good for both of us.

I am went to Curves Thursday for the first time! I had my first appointment Friday and worked a full circuit and today I went on my own and did it.

I love it!!!

I have a free week and then I am going to join. I want to make sure I fit it into my work schedule when I start working Monday! :)

At first I felt silly.... walking on those pads alone... but everyone else is doing it too.

I feel like I am walking like a mad women with my arms failing... in reality I probally look like I am taking baby steps. It's funny what tricks your mind can play on you!!!

I have been a Curves Member for 2-3 weeks now and I think my Butt is finally shrinking!:p My scale has not been my friend this last week, but I am over it and have re-energized my spirits. I am not going to pay as much attention to my scale as long as my measurements are headed downwards with my Butt!

Try out Curves and I think you just might like it!

I just joined the local curves last week! I can't wait for the one month check in to see if I'm losing any inches. I already feel stronger in my legs. Good luck and have fun building up those muscles everyone!

Great idea !!! I joined Curves last March, and I am still loving it. I made a committment to myself that I will go at least 3x per week, and other than vacation/sickness, I have stuck to this ... and probably more weeks were 4x a week before I started my "roadwork" training for the 1/2 marathon.

Even after I reach my goal, I still very much see myself continuing on with Curves. I feel great after I leave, and it really takes very little time out of a busy week. Enjoy. :)
