Hi everyone,
Had to keep this thread going or I wouldn't stay motivated, so here goes. Switched my treadmill workout to a longer (one hour) session at a lower speed but upping the incline with every lap. It gave me a new challenge. Stayed on for a little over 60 minutes and burned about 360 calories. Finished with some weight work on legs and 100 crunches. I didn't make my first 5lb clippie like I was hoping, but maybe next week.....(those cheesy fries with bacon last week from Kelly's Roast Beef did not help my cause! )

Have a great day! If I can do it, believe me you can too:crazy:

Morning Kathy and congratulations on your GREAT workout! You really worked hard, Girl! I did Total Body Sculpt + Abs this morning! If I don't exercise in the morning, I won't do it all day! Who's next...?:)

I rode my bike around my neighborhood with DS & will probably go to the mall later to get some walking in.

it works for me. I worked dragging branches and small trees from our fenceline on our farm. It was downhill dragging and straight uphill going back for more. I did this for 2.5 hours (it's a long walk back and forth from where we made the pile to burn) and fitday says I burned 937 calories YAHOO!!! The big plus for me is there is more to drag next weekend so I'm really planning for this to jump start my weight loss! I am sore already but plan to get my run in tomorrow due to predicted rain early this week. I weigh-in Monday, 5 lb clippie here I come (already seeing some results before today's workout)!!!!! Good Job fellow exercisers!!

I did my usual 30 min on the Gazelle, but at a little slower pace than I would have liked to go. I pulled a muscle in my back a while ago which started acting up on me again this past week, so I'm trying to make sure I don't aggrivate it during my workouts. I did manage to do my 15 min strength exercises, surprisingly enough, the crunches didn't seem to bother me, but the walking on the Gazelle did. Go figure!

 I didn't get my full workout in as my stomach wasn't feeling well, but I did manage 30 minutes on the elliptical (and the rest of the day on the couch!) I also earned a new exercise clippie!

My Dear Sister had arranged for us (3 of 4) to go on a walk. Depending on which sister's pedometer you believe, we walked somewhere between 4 and 6 miles, and somewhere between 10,300 and 11, 000 steps. Well, with my short legs, I'm a'goin' with the 11,000. Whatever the real numbers, it was a trial through snow, sleet and icy, mushy sidewalks! Thanks, SIS!
