(Did I spell everything right? All those x's and z's... :) )

Well, I used my 50% coupon from Michael's at A.C.Moore last week and bought the girls are weird sizzlets. Today was the first time I got to use them and I really like them!! I haven't tried gluing them yet so I may change my mind. :)

When I bought them a woman shopping suggested I buy the glue pen to use so I did. You also need to buy the converter ($15) to use in the machine.

Last week I spent several days going through my entire craft room cleaning. I am fortunate that I can use the living room since we don't use it since we have a family room. I am actually embarassed about all the supplies I have bought but have yet to use. The room is CLEAN now so it's back to scrapbooking! I am up to Sept/Oct 2000 in DD5's book and a trip to WDW. I wanted to use the sizzlets to create my headings so that was the incentive to clean. I love the Sizzix but it does take up space so I needed to clean first.

I thought of a way to keep the punched out sizzlet letters organized - I'm off to A.C. Moore later to look for those plastic bead holders - you know, the ones with the different compartments? I hope I can find a large one that has 26 or so spaces. The thing with the sizzlets is that each die cuts out 4 of the letter and you may not use them all so I want to store them.

Hi

I have the sizzlets script alphabet and really like it!

I love your idea about having a bead box to store the extra letters that you punch out. I have been just throwing them away.

The next font I want is the Girls Are Wierd, then maybe the playground font.

We do not have an AC Moore in Indy:( Besides the Sizzix website, does anyone know where else I might find the Sizzlets? I love my Fun Serif font, but know that I would use the smaller ones more often. Thanks for your help!

I just got an email from CreativeXpress and they have the Sizzlets on sale for $99.00 (33% off) plus they have free shipping on orders over $100.00.

www.creativexpress.com - off is on the home page.

I had bought the Playground sizzlets at our AC Moore last week with the 50% off coupon. I had really wanted the Girls Are Weird font, but AC Moore didn't have it. So, I was happy to see this offer and ordered the Girls Are Weird set tonight. I have yet to try the set I bought last week.

They also have their Paper Bliss at 50% off so I ordered a few of those to put me over the $100.00.

HTH someone,
Carol

BlessedMomOfTwo - Thanks for the info about the sizzlets sale - I think I'll order the playground set. At our A.C. Moore they had the other three sets but not that one. With free shipping on-line the price is not bad!

I finally tried the girls are weird set yesterday and I really like that style. Some of the dies were a little "sticky" but then they worked fine. DO NOT use these dies if you are tired or impatient! :) Since they are small they take a steady hand and patience - especially if you are using them as shadows and have to glue one set on top of the other. I used the zig glue pen for that and it worked fine. DD5 just loves the sizzix and I had her doing some of the work for me. :)

Also...it would be best not to use these if you have a cold...one sneeze sent a bunch of the letters flying yesterday. :)

I have run my paper through my X first, I found this easier to apply them.

I haven't made all four at once though I have been cutting my paper so as I can sizzlet just one letter at a time.

I have all four sets and I love them. I cut the letters and I run them thru my xyron "X". Saves paper and adhesive. I love the
GAW font the best! These little letters are so kewl they can be used as embellishments!
