Room Service at AKL?

I was thinking of ordering the in-room dining package to surprise DH. Has anybody ever done this? How is room service at AKL in general? TIA.

We ordered room service SEVERAL times during our stay May 2003. It was always very prompt and the correct temp (depending on what we ordered). I don't know about a "dinner package". We ordered (dd15 and I) dinner, lunch, breakfast, and mid-day fruit/cheese tray.

I personally did not like the hotel (not quite up to the level I expected) but I will say that the room service was what I expected. Excellent.

The resort is spectacular..and room service is wonderful.

We have had breakfast and snacks delivered...all excellent.
