Just have to share

Ok, since I know there are so many of us on these boards that are regularly (constantly? ;) ) thinking about scrapping I just have to share this.

My DD is 13 (14 end of March) and is definitely in that stage of hair, clothes, and makeup :rolleyes: . Over the winter her hair, which has always had lots of natural highlights has gotten decidely darker and she has been bugging me about getting highlights put in. I lost my last good excuse - the play she was in - so on Saturday we spent 2 1/2 hours in the salon (she has a LOT of hair) having highlights put in.

Naturally I saw this as a photo opportunity and took pictures all the way through the process. Presuming I EVER get through the present projects and actually find time to scrap these....:rolleyes: they should be a blast to do!

Of course, there is the small element of blackmail in there as well! :tongue:

I love to blackmail my kids with pictures.

Have a funny story recently. DS 7 still has all his baby teeth :( Not one has come out yet. Well. the other day he was outside and got hit in the mouth with a snowball. The snowball made his one loose tooth bleed and was just hanging there. I got out my camera and told him to come into the kitchen. is first words were. "YOU ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE A PICTURE!" He didn't even know I had the darn thing out. So I bribed him with a dollar to take a pictureof his bleeding mouth and tear filled eyes. About three minutes later he yells, "IT CAME OUT!" Of course, being a mother, I knew the tooth was coming out that afternoon so I left the camera out. Got more pictures but refused to pay him anymore. Can't wait to get them back and scrap them.
