Black & White Striped Paper? Help!!!!

Has anyone ever found 12x12, black & white narrow striped paper?

I am making myself LOONY over this...I am doing an American Girl Place LO and have it in my mind that I want this as background paper since those are AG's colors. I've tried my LSS, AC Moore, Mike's, etc... My usual online sources are tough bc I can't search by color or style (wouldn't that be nice?) so I've wasted hours browsing screen after screen.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you considered black gingham?

I just did an American Girl Album. It is 8 x 8, with red, white and black paper....I used alot of black gingham ribbon (and the wonderful Making Memories ribbon charms).

Of course...I am always happy with layouts wearing nothing but my Bazzill paper!

How was AG Place? DD will be 14 the end of March but is still bugging me to go over. You'd think we could get around the Lake to Chicago from our little spot in Michigan but it hasn't worked out yet!

Deb - AG Place is a lot of fun. DD is 9, and we've gone 3 times - 2x in Chicago, and most recently in NYC. (spoiled rotten, my kid is!) We've done all the meals except for dinner, and by far our favorite is the tea. We also saw the Circle of Friends show in Chicago, and it was lovely. Very nice messages about friendship. I was teary eyed. DD thought I was nuts, of course!

If you can remember where you saw the striped paper, I would be so happy!!

Patti - I had not thought of gingham bc I have been so focused on the stripes! :D Have you posted your LOs anywhere? I'd love to see them.

I have some paper that might work. It isn't black and white stripped but it does have a feel of old ticking..if you know what that means... PM you addy and I will send it too you...I am the paper queen who needs to get rid of some of this paper!

Spinning - you are so nice to offer, but believe it or not, I had success this afternoon! I found some 8.5x11, exactly what I need, at an LSS that wasn't so "L" to me, but fun to visit nonetheless! I think I will color block with it over red, and it will be just the effect I was looking for. Thank you so much, though!

Michaels use to carry Frances Meyer black and white striped papers in 12X12- but I know they clearanced them all a few months ago -
all I have left is the gingham.

Yes it is 12 X 12. Do you want me to send it off to you? I have two sheets of small stripes and two sheets of larger stripes (I think) I am at work right now...paper taker is in my car(have not unpacked from this weekend, since I will be going scrapping again on Sat.
