homemade ice cream

I sure hope someone can help me! I can't find a recipe that I use for my scouts. It's for homemade ice cream. I use freezer zip bags and kosher salt. No rock salt or coffee cans. Anyone familiar with this??? Many thanks.

We did that several years ago with my troop! I remember it used two zip bags the outside one had the salt and cold water, the inside one the mix. And the girls were shaking it around like loony birds!

I just looked at our state DNR website because I originally got the recipe through one of their publications but didn't find it. How soon do you need this? I may have it with my stuff at home....

except our recipe didn't have the double bag suggestion! And some of the ice cream had a bit of a salty taste! :p
