(Not) Leaving References after a trade

Because of the move my Dizpins References were moved to a new e-mail addy. They are switched now and I thought the results were interesting:
References you received: successfully changed 444 record(s).
References you submitted: successfully changed 617 record(s).

I leave references when I would make another trade with that person.
Those people I would think would also leave referencs for me.
Look at the difference in the numbers....
Shows it really adds up over time.
Some traders even leave me multiple references for one (multiple) trade. I have a few times but generally notate to the side it was a multiple trade.

I have noticed the same thing on Ebay--I think I have only received in return about 75% of the feedback I have left for others. When completing a transaction, as part of my email I ALWAYS mention that I will be leaving positive feedback and hope they do the same. evidently some people cant be bothered!

I always leave a reference if the trade went well, sometimes it's late, but I leave it. I hardly ever check to see if people leave one for me. Guess I should do that!

I've been having a lot of fun trading with Japanese traders lately. They are so much easier to trade with. They answer your emails, and they are very fair traders in general. AND they leave references. Japan has released some beautiful pins.
