I have the MIckey eyelets from WDW. When I hammer them in the front gets all crushed! If I don't hammer hard enough, the eyelet will not set. Any ideas will be appreciated!
I love these eyelets, but everytime I try poor mickey gets smushed! Please help me help mickey!::MickeyMo

It might be the tools you are using. There are some that are better with smaller and more fragile eyelets. :D

I am using MM products. Is anyone else having this problem with the Mickey eyelets? Maybe I got a bad batch?

I had that same problem. What I ended up doing was bending the back with my pliers and hammering them down when all of it is bent. Hope this helps. The metal they used to make those eyelets with is much stronger than a usual eyelet.

You know how your hole puncher has 3 sizes? You might need the setter that has 3 sizes, I had trouble too. I just put my setter in, banged really hard about 4 times, then hammered...that actually worked pretty well. Before then, I had a lot of them screw up.

are you using the setter made for shaped eyelets? it is the tip that looks like a little post sticking out of the center... not the cone shaped one. Also try putting a towel between the eyelet and the setting mat.
I find that many light taps with a mallet are the best way to set an eyelet with out messing up the shape.
