I'm thinking about buying some Quick and Casual Disney meal vouchers before our honeymoon trip in August. Looking on the Budget Board there seems to be many ways to get your hands on them, but does anyone have any suggestions on the cheapest way to buy some if you live in the UK? I'd prefer not to go down the ebay route if possible.

I have asked the same question on the budget board and apparently they are not so readily available to the uk. Most people seem to advise against buying them on ebay as they are more expensive, but we can't buy them off hotwire from the uk. They can be bought from the uk from Florida Orlando Online, but they are $17.50 each and apparently $25 shipping, (as opposed to $11.50 each on Hotwire). Personally, it looks like it's going to be cheaper buying off ebay. I've been keeping an eye on them and they seem to be going for around $14/$15 each. If i don't come up with any other ways then i'll just buy off ebay!

Why pay $14 or $15 for these Q&C vouchers? From what I understand, these are only valid for counter service meals - and from what I remember last year - in most of these places I rarely spent more than $10 on lunch and a drink.
I know I've read that some people have some cunning ways of getting good value from these vouchers, but it seems to be very difficult - and IMO, too much effort.
If anyone could explain to me why these vouchers would offer good value at $15 then I'd happily reconsider, but for now I think its better just to pay as you go.

Yes, but from what i understand they usually are enough to feed two people, so that would make them slightly better value. However, my reason for buying them is actually not to do with saving money. It's purely the convenience being able to prepay as much as possible. I'm one of these terrible people where money tends to burn a hole in my pocket and if i leave it in my savings account i'm sure to end up dipping in to it. This way whether it works out better value or not, at least some of our meals are paid for, rather than me dipping to it before we go, and then coming back with huge credit card bills.:)
