Hello :Pinkbounc

We are staying at Orange Lake from the 22nd to the 29th of Feb. I've searched here a bit and read some stuff, but was wondering if anyone had been there quite recently. I'd like to know if I should be requesting a certain village or not. Our group consists of me, DH, DD - 2.5 yrs, DD - 6 mos, my mom and dad. We have booked a two bedroom villa. We would like to swim a bit, if warm enough, especially in a kiddie pool for DD or a regular size pool. Other than that, we don't have many requests
:D

Thank you so much ... Kerri

I stayed there in December in a 2 bedroom condo. We were in the West Village in a high rise next to the main check-in building. It was a very nice place, modern, clean furnishings. There were pools within walking distance, also a beach on the lake. I believe in the West Village there was a childrens pool, an olympic pool and a heated pool.

You might try requesting the North Village for the Splash Lagoon pool (one of the few resorts w/a waterslide), but keep in mind owners will get preference. Get there close to checkin and they might honor your request. Second choice would be the Tennis Villas which is a short drive to Splash Lagoon. There are at least 4 pools on the complex, plus the beach area. There is really no reason to leave the resort unless you want to go to the parks (supermarket, movie theater, tennis and basketball are all on-site).

Next year, there will be a water park on-site. Check their website http://www.olcc.com OLCC was the first timeshare we stayed in and so far the best (IMHO).

I always request a villa close to the main clubhouse as possible. The North Village is quite a haul.
