If it’s Sunday, then it’s DD’s 12th Birthday!
I had promised to spend the day with DD with the exception of our DisMeet! She did not want to go but I reminded her that someone had gone to a lot of trouble set this thing up and it would be unsociable not to show up! Little did she realize it was her Mom who did this! But she would see later that day that her mom still could pull one over on her!
We spent a leisurely day, eating, playing games, and just plain enjoying being on board!
We had fun with the Toad Races! Even I got in on the action! Who says you have to be a kid to have fun!
It was almost time for our DisMeet, so off we went to the Promenade Lounge! I had ordered a cake! Boy was she surprised! Thanks for everybody that took the time out to help celebrate all occasions! And thanks to the CM’s that were willing to take the remainder of the cake and share with their fellow CM’s! Thank you to Amy Edwards for helping me arrange everything! Like DD said, this was the biggest Birthday Party she’s ever had! It was nice putting faces to names and creating new friendships! Also during the meet the QM2 just happened to sail by us! Could not have been a better day!
But all good things must come to an end! It was formal night so had to go and transform ourselves! Plus had to make sure that I got DD all dressed and ready for those formal pics! May never get the opportunity again!
After we got dressed, headed straight for the picture areas! Had some great pics taken and even got to dance with Goofy! We have our pics taken with the Captain! Still did not know if I was able to rebook! It was now time for “Golden Mickeys”
It was a little slow at the beginning but found out why later in the week! The show on a whole was Fabulous! Really enjoyed!
Afterwards, changed and roamed around for while then called it a night!
