Planning a family gathering. Wr're on Atkins, another group is on SBD, after the first weeks. Does SBD allow grilled london broil? I'm thinking London Broil, salad, veggies. What kind of salad dressing is prefered in SBD? Thanks for any help.

I think your menu looks great for SB! London Broil is allowed in all phases. The prefered salad dressing for SB is a vinagrette. I use olive oil, red wine or balsamic vineger, garlic, a little salt, and a pack or two of Splenda.

On SBD you can also have prepared salad dressings that have 3 grams or less of sugar in them. Also, butter isn't allowed on SBD (or is, but very sparingly) so if you are planning to serve butter on the veggies that might pose a problem for your SBD guests. Sounds good though, what time should we be over? :)

I just wanted to add to Lisa's post that I use I can't believe it's not butter light and it is very good. I used it tonight to make my own version of buffalo chicken tenders and too me, it looks, smells, melts and tastes like the real thing. Have a great meal!
