Are there usually resort discounts in October and if so how much have they been in the past? We're thinking about taking a quick trip for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and I was wondering how the weather is in October. Is the party as great as I've been hearing? Thanks for any info!!

We were there last year & the only word to describe te weather the first few days, was humid. However, it did mean no jackets/jumpers required for MNSSHP which was well worth the money, not least because of the characters out ~& about that you don't often get to see. Getting to the park an hour or so was a good bonus as by the time the party started we had cracked tomorrowland. Can't comment on resort discounts as we got a package deal as we live in UK. My advice would definitely be to go!

We went on the 26th last year, and I would describe the weather as PERFECT. It was high 70's low 80's. I didn't notice the humidity myself. My kids had a blast at MNSSHP, the parade was a hoot and we got to ride just about everything. We got a great deal last year. Just keep your eyes open, and I am sure some sort of discount will come up

You are gonna have fun!!

We did MNSSHP on 10/31. I agree-- the weather was just right. Warm w/o a lot of humidity. The nights would cool a bit, but not as much as the winter months. Light jacket most nights, with shorts still. The only really humid day was Halloween. Which was alittle rough. Personally, I thought itwas TOO crowded. Ours was sold out. I really liked that time of year though. The begining of the month you still run a high chance of Hurricane effects. As for crowds-- middle of the road. October is quickly becomming a more popular month.
