Scrappers stand up and be counted.
Inspired by a post by BevS97. I am truly surprised at how quiet the scrapbook portion of this board is. With scrapping being the hot activity that it is I am just curious as to how many of us are here.
Tell us about your current scrap project, even if you haven’t worked on it for a while.
My current project is my Disney Cruise scrapbook. I am about half finished. I am also working on an on-going book for my Grandson, who is 17 months old. I am enjoying both. I think I will miss working on my cruise book when the project comes to an end. It’s sort of like coming to the end of a good book.

Hi,
I'm working on my first book which is off our Orlando vacation last month. I've done about 8 pages so far, and can see plenty more so I think it will be a big project. After that I want to work on my dd's baby book, so I am collecting bits and pieces for that, and I am considering making a small album for my mum and dad after my brother's wedding next week (but am having trouble finding the courage to make something so important).
Bev
I'm in on the count. I've just finished a book for my father and all his woodworking projects. Now, I'll continue my 2001 book for the family and will try to get started on something for my DS. I've got everything that I want for him in a box ready to go; plus all my pictures are organized. So, I just need to sit down and work on it. I've got 3 workshops scheduled next week. That should help.

Well, I'm mostly working on my Disney 2000 trip. I've also got several albums that are works in progress - a Christmas album, a family album, and an album for my dog. I'd like to get started on one for my husband and then I'm planning one to chronicle my relationship with my two best girlfriends. I'm hoping to start it at high school and bring it to the present. It will have our weddings, our children, the trips we've taken together, etc. It should be a lot of fun to put together a girly-girl album. Anyway, I think that's it for now, but you never can tell!

I'm also working on several albums right now. My current album which is about 3 months behind and an album for my parents that covers them from kids to their wedding. I was at Disneyworld in July and December, and then Disneyland in March so I have several Disney pages in the current album. I do a separate Christmas album and am two years behind on that. I also have a separate album for my high school, college and sports days. I am no where near complete on that one. I have bought an album for my boyfriends navy pictures but don't want to even think about starting that until I complete my parents album. I absolutely love scrapbooking.

Hi Chessie,
Count me in. I am currently working on our Nov. 2000 Disney trip and am about 1/2 done. It is already 34 pages ( or 68 sides). It may take 2 albums to get it done.
I also have several others that are ongoing:
My youngest DS's school book which I update at the end of each school year.
My DD's album from birth up.
My older DS's album from birth up
Have pictures organized and ready to start an album for younger DS from birth up
I have many other ideas for albums I would like to do, but have more than enough to do with what I already have going. Maybe someday:)

I am a brand new scrapper. Before my December trip to WDW I knew I wanted to make a scrapbook from the experience. Before that I had put together a photo album with all my 1997 trip pictures, menus, tickets and text about the trip.
I bought an scrapbook when I was in World of Disney and then got paper, stickers and other stuff. I also attended a CM workshop.
So far I haven't started the scrapbook yet. But I do intend to do it.

I have 4 albums currently going-
DD's School Album (she just completed 1st grade)
DD's Regular Album (She's so active-I'm constantly adding new pictures)
Family Album-(this is where I put stuff that belongs to DH and me!)
a 5x7 Spring Break Album (we went to TX, Six Flags etc...)
In addition, I own my own scrapbooking-related business, so I am constantly filling orders for paper piecings, and trying to come up with new ideas. I have my scrapbook stuff out just about everyday, or I am on the computer doing something scrapbook related everyday. To date I have competed 9 albums (not including gift albums I've given away) my PRIDE and JOY being our Disney album from 1998!!! :earsgirl:
Happy Scrappin' Everyone,
I will make the effort to post more scrappin stuff too!

I have been scrapping for about a year and a half. The first scrapbook finished was with my friend. We did her Disney trip, of course.;)
I am currently working on my Nov 2000 Disney trip and my DD's second year. The problem is she is turning 4 next month so I am falling a bit behind!!:(
It is such a relaxing hobby and I love to take pictures! The problem I find is I over supply and then I have too many decisions to make.

I've started scrapbooking fairly recently (last couple of years) ... I completed one for my nephews "first year" which made my sister-in-law cry .... I've done one of a trip I made to Washington DC with another nephew...that was fun!!
Currently I'm working on transferring the family photos from the old magnetic albums to scrapbooks ....lots of work to do there still ... I think it will take me years to complete...lol .... I'm the family "keeper" and I've got all the photos and I'm one of seven kids so you can imagine how many pictures I have to go thru.
I'm planning my first trip to WDW for December and I'm already gathering ideas and supplies for the scrapbook I'm going to make from that trip.
Being from the NYC area it's hard to find others who are really interested in this craft ... it's nice to know I'm not completely alone.
If anyone knows of any good scrapbooking supply stores in the NYC area ...or good online stores I would appreciate hearing about them...I haven't been able to find one yet !!

I have a few albums going right now....my son's that I just did a power layout for, my daughter's that I need to get reprints for, and my family album. I also occasionally do pages to add to the 5x7 albums I gave to the kids grandparents last Christmas. I also have my wedding album to do (redo...it was almost 9 years ago) and an album for my 1999 WDW trip. Oh, and my ds and I are working on an ABC album, plus I want to make one for my dd too!
I started scrapbooking last fall...after my Aug. 2000 WDW trip....I did finish that album, did some gifts, and was current and had worked all the way back to Christmas of 1999. Now I'm behind again....have my dd's birthday, Easter, Memorial Day to do and I have about 5 rolls of film from our trip to the beach last week (eeeekkkkk!) I've gotta stop taking so many photos! LOL. I had been wanting to start for several years...then planned to do a book for our 1999 WDW trip and my camera broke! I've just recently given in and decided to go ahead and use the digital pics my dh took.
Also I recently went through and sorted all my photos back to my childhood...eventually I'll get them all scrapped (like when my kids are grown up!)
After deciding that the WDW Millenium scrapbook is a piece of junk that will probably have to be redone in a year or two ( ) I've started using all CM albums and I'll be color coding them....Evergreen for my family ones, Black for my ds (he picked), Plum for my dd, and I think I'll use Navy for WDW trips.
I usually just read the boards but decided to "stand up and be counted". I have been scrapping for just a year now and love it. I started practicing with old photos and have recently decided to jump right in and do my Oct 1998 WDW Trip album. It is about 1/3 finished. I use 8 1/2 x 11 size and sheet protectors so I can easily jump around as an idea hits me. I don't think I would ever finish an album if I had to put it in order first!
I also am working on a recipe album so I love reading all the recipes everyone posts.

count me in---have been scrapping for 2 years. I'm currently working on Christmas '00 for us, and 2 5x7's--one for each grandma as Christmas presents. I use Creative Memories, but I sure wish they would add some Disney-themed stuff. This is my only disappointment with them. However, Dan Murphy suggested MouseMemories.com about a year ago. I have ordered Disney supplies from them and was very pleased. I have always thought this would be an especially good hobby if you lived way up North, where you're indoors for much of the fall/winter.

I've been scrapping for several years. I'm currently working on the end of our 1999 album. We took a December trip to WDW, so I'm in the middle of doing all those pages. I'm SO behind!!! So many photos and so little time.

I totally agree! I am pretty loyal to Creative Memories, but it's hard to do Disney albums when they do not have Disney-themed supplies.

I guess I've been scrapping about 3 years. I consider myself a scrapbook supplies "collector." This week I've started pages for our Disneyland/Dec 00 trip, which was magical. In a couple weeks, I'll start pages for our beloved first trip to WDW in January.
I literally collected supplies for 10 months before I whacked a single photo. I have completed 5 years of holidays, baby's first year, & Hawaii/Apr 00.
I am also sending my folks perpetual pages to add to their 8-1/2 x 11 book I started for their 60th Anniversary over Christmas break. It starts out with a poem featured last fall in a CM newsletter, for a perpetual "Grandparents" book. During my '100 days of scrappin' this summer, I hope to send them a dozen more sides.
While in Ohio at the beginning of this month, I mounted 50+ sides of my family's magnetic messes. I shot 2 rolls of film while there on a geneology trip & have done the unthinkable - misplaced both envelopes of photos w/the negatives still inside. Although I've learned my lesson that you never touch photos while taking meds for bronchitis  , I'm having a hard time getting over this... :(

I am currently working on a 2001 Dis book,
my DS book ( about 1 year behind) and DD #2 14 years behind....she is 16....My oldest is next, I did her high school, and school age one for graduation. I put all 13 years K-12 in the beginning and then followed them with pix from the different years. Everyone loved them at the party.....
I love scrapping.......but ohh if there were just more hours in a day....

I've been scrapping for several years now. Vowed not to get involved in another craft, but voila, I love it!
I started trying to do albums for my 2 children, ages 22 and 18, so I had a lot of sorting, etc. to do. Sometimes I get away from those albums and work on more recent events, just for a change of pace.
I now have graduation for 2nd child to work on and oldest was in visiting with his family, so have plenty to keep me busy.
I do feel that when you start scrapbooking, it makes you want to use your camera more often. I find myself saying "this will look good in the album". I take many more pictures than I have in recent years, with the intent to include them in an album.
I am faithful to my CM albums, I personally like them the best, but do go to other supply stores and on-line to find stickers, die cuts etc. There are a lot of Disney related items out on the market.

Losing photos is so disappointing! I'm sure they'll turn up eventually. Seems like an awful lot of pics to just disappear.
When we came back from WDW last year I got everything developed and didn't realize until I began my scrapbook that I was missing a whole roll of film! I was in a panic. I did find it at the bottom of one of our bags...thankfully. They were pics of my dd's first character meal at the Crystal Palace.

I started scrapping last August to create a history of "meets" for the then "Rita Aero's Reader's Clubhouse". Initially, because I didn't know what I was doing, I used only color photo copies of the pictures. That album was a bit hit, and I've since filled 3 more. (12X12, post bound, mostly double page spreads)
I also have 13 filled photo albums of Disney trips alone! so for me, the pictures are the thing. I don't think i've ever used a die cut other than accu-cut letters, rarely use stickers, don't own a rubber stamp (and still manage to have tons of "stuff"!) I love to do penwork and paper piece.
The only album i'm having trouble getting motivated to finish is a family heritage album for my son. I don't know if it's because most of the early pictures are black and white (I LOVE color!) or what but it's been sitting virtually untouched since last Thanksgiving, while i've turned out pages and pages of Disney, graduations, parties, and travel.
Has anyone the same problem I have? Probably 70% of my pictures do not have people in them. They're gardens and flowers, architectural features and scenery. I have scarcely any unposed children's photos. So-- many of the cute stickers and so forth don't work with my pages. Seeking suggestions!
Note to BethE: the only way to start is to Start! Once you've done that first page, I promise you, it will get easier!
Lesley

LindaBabe,
With the kinds of pages you mention I generally do everything I can to put the focus on the pics themselves....double and sometimes triple matting, nice lettering, simple borders, etc.....then the pics really pop out. Sometimes a simple die cut can accent the page just right.
I also use this approach for portraits. I hate to take the attention off of a great portrait by putting too much "theme" around it.

Hi everyone!!
Donna, here!
I had every intention of making a scrapbook from my 2000-2001 vacations to WDW. I have a lot of supplies and photos, but I seem to be frozen. I am completely overwhelmed.
As soon as I clear off a corner of my dining room table, I am going to give it a shot.

I'm a new scrapper as well. I've came to this board and read the posts, asked some questions, and went to see all the online scrapbooks that you guys have posted for the last couple of months. I knew that I wanted to do this, but was afraid to start. I'm not very crafty. I took a scrapbooking class at the local Vo-Tech a couple of weeks aga with my DD. I have now finished 4 pages that are of my DS's first trip to WDW. Next I will do our 2nd trip to WDW. Seems that's pretty popular around here :)
mbs, I'd love to see your album that you did for your father, even just a few pages. My DH had a photo album of his kitchen cabinets that he has made, but I'd love to do something like that for him. Also, for any of you that have never posted about your scrapbook pages that are acsessable online, could you give us newbies a link to see them? I get more confidence when I see others pages. Thanks. I'm here too! :p
I've been scrapping for about 3 1/2 years now. It's very addicting! I tend to scrap in spurts - I'll work diligently for a few weeks then won't touch them for a couple of months LOL! I get burned out and need a break every now and then.
I've done an album for every year, 1995 - 2000 (some are not fully completed yet though) and 1st year album for both my kids all done in 8 1/2 x 11. I've also done two gift calendars and a 5 x 7 gift album. I've started on a 12 x 12 Las Vegas 2000 album that I hope to finish by the end of summer, and I've started on our 2001 family album. I plan on starting on our 12 x 12 Orlando Vacation 2001 album next week. Other projects I hope to start on by the end of the year is a trip to Colorado from 1995 and perhaps our Wedding album and an Army album for DH. I'm also doing a School Days album for my 6 yr old, so that's in the beginning stages. I'm a scatterbrain when it comes to the family albums, I just scrap whenever the mood strikes and in various orders - organizing it all together when I'm done. My main priority is to get the Orlando one done as soon as possible - while the memories are still fresh in my mind for journaling. Plus, I had layouts in mind as I took pictures!!
I have TONS of supplies! I buy more supplies than I could ever possibly use actually. DH says I could open a store LOL! I recently bought some Isis carts to organize and they are really nice. I'm a sticker fiend, but rarely use them. I think I have at least one of nearly every sticker Mrs. Grossman's makes :). I love Paperkins and patterned papers, especially Paper Patch and Northern Spy. I also love to use Diamond Dust - I made a really neat title page for my Vegas album out of Diamond Dust and it turned out really cool. I have pretty much every paper edger scissors you can think of - hardly ever use them anymore though. That was in my "Cut Everything With Decorative Scissors Phase". I use both post bound albums and ring binders - I tend to buy Pioneer ones.
I also have a scrapbooking site - Stephanie's Scrapbooking Corner (http://www.geocities.com/sc_lay/scrapbook.html) - but it's not been updated in a bit. You can see some of my layouts there if you wish. I plan on starting some new updates next week as I get some pages done in the Orlando album.
Gerri, I still haven't quite figured out how to scan and then post the pages on-line. The book for my father turned out so great that it took him almost 5 days to get through it. He just couldn't believe everything that I did, found, etc. The kids kept going to their rooms saying look, something else that Pop Pop made. My nieces were doing the same thing. I ended up with 32 sides in an 81/2 x 11 CM album.
I've started my 2000 album. I'm up to April and my 1st DS's communion. Since I've started scrapping only this year, I am amazed at the number of pictures I am taking now as I was this time last year. For instance, I only have 3 family pages worth for January 2000, but 6 for January 2001! I certainly am taking more pictures with the specific ideas of putting them on scrapbook pages. And I have never saved as much either. Monday was a b-day party for DS and I saved the scorecard from minature golf from all the kids playing to use on the pages.

Count me in as having "The Fever"! I absolutely love scrapbooking.
My first book was of my family's first (well, first after we had kids) trip to Disney World in 1995. I am now working in my 10th & 11th albums. I have 2 of Disney World trips (2 trips in each) and 5 for my son and 4 for my daughter.
The books of the kids go from their birth up until today (well, not exactly today - I'm not that caught up yet!). Currently, I am about a year behind on each of my kids - i.e. I am working on pictures from about 1 year ago. I usually seem to just about catch up to the present when some big picture taking event happens like Christmas, a disney trip or birthdays and it throws me way behind again.
I love doing it. My daughter (7 years old) loves helping me and looking at the books. My hubby and son (10) enjoy looking at them as well.j
I have had people say to me, "those albums will be a great gift to your kids when they leave home". My response? "Gift to them?!? They can have them when I die!" ha

I'm here too! Currently trying to catch up on our family album - winter/spring pictures. Would like to be relatively "current" by the time I leave in 5 weeks for WDW. Once I come home, all I'll want to work on is that vacation album. Spent all winter doing a vacation album from a trip to Puerto Rico in November. Nothing better than scrapping beaches and palm trees when there's two feet of snow on the ground! ;)

I went on a Disney cruise in March. They have a cruise coloring book in one of the shops. Get one!
When you get home you can photocopy the pages you want to use in your scrapbook. You can then cut the pictures into puzzle-like pieces. Cut the pieces out of cardstock and put them back together (using the coloring book for reference. Add pen lines and you have great paper piecing to decorate your cruise pages.
Best of all they are themed perfectly and the pages are very inexpensive! You can even take photos to go with the coloring book pages you like if you are a compulsive scrapper like me. ;)

Count me in as well. I use CM 12 x 12 albums and just completed our WDW album from January, 2001. I am about to start scrapping our June, 2001 trip. I always have a current volume of Emily's life (we're on volume 4 now, she's 4 1/2). My biggest accomplishment this summer has been the creation of my scrapping room. It's an entire bedroom dedicated to scrapping and all my supplies are finally organized. I hope to keep up a little better now. Happy Scrappin'.

Hi! I just finished putting the photos in my latest Disney vacation (from May 2001) album. Now the journaling. I have been scrapping for a while now and this is my tenth album (second Disney). Of course, some are still works in progress. Are you ever really finished?

Count me in too!
I haven't been to the Dis boards in a while. I've been a thoroughly addicted scrapper for nearly 4 yrs. I'm working on my 3rd (well 5th if you count two smaller ones) Disney album. This one is from our November land and sea package. I had worked so hard on finishing the previous album that I couldn't even look at a Disney page until recently. So, now I'm working on the Nov 00 trip. I also have a March 01 trip to scrap and we are leaving for another Disney trip at the end of the summer.
Other than Disney albums, I aim to do an album a year (a thick one) for every year since the birth of my dd. I'm also starting to do smaller theme albums... a 5x7 album with pictures of our old house, a 12x12 gorgeous Tie Me To The Moon album with pictures of moving in and renovations to our new home, a school album, my sister's wedding album, and I've been trying to do small simple albums of short special trips that have way too many important pictures to put in my regular albums. Will I ever be caught up? No way. I like the process too much!

I haven't looked at the board in about 4 weeks. Please forgive me. I've been scrapping for almost 2 years and absolutely love it! The reason you haven't heard from me is that I am in the process of opening my own little scrapbook business, on the internet. I would love to tell all of you the name of the site, but I don't want to break any rules. My other latest project is my 14 year old son's baby album. I got 6 pages done at the Great American Scrapbook Convention while cropping with fellow "recipes and scrapbooks forum" friends. Love scrapbooking, d4disney :D

Michelle here...I have been working on my Disney book for 2 years now. It is an ongoing project. We went 9/00 and I still have to finish that trip before I begin the trip from this past March! I find it hard to get anything done at home. I cannot work on it until the kids go to bed and by the time 9-930 rolls around, I don't fell like getting everything out. I have been pestering my husband about going to a few 4 hr. night crops. In 4 hours I can get almost 5 pages done, depending on the complexity of them. I like going out since I have no kids, phone, husband, cat, etc. to cause distractions! Plus everything I want/need is at my disposal and whatever I buy goes on a tab. I am looking forward to getting back in the groove, though! By the time I get all caught up it will be time to take another trip to WDW!

I'm here and I'm a scrapper! I'm somewhat new to these boards. I hang out quite a bit on the collectors/pin trading boards, though. I've popped in a few times to these boards but never really posted until recently.
Right now I'm pretty much caught up on all my scrapbooks. I went to an all-day crop yesterday and completed 20 pages. The only pics I really have to work on right now are my vacation pics. We recently went to Outer Banks, NC (beach) for a family reunion and my sister's wedding. I have a TON of pics to scrap for that! I'm waiting for the new sand colored album & pages that CM has coming out in September to do most of the pics. But I do have a roll of b&w pics from the wedding (beach wedding) that I'm going to scrap on black pages with sand colored mats. I'll probably work on that this week or next weekend or something.

I'm a scrapper too. Started last year after our WDW trip in Oct. 2000. Now I'm finishing our "Trips to Other Places" book and then I'm going to do one on when we built our house.
My 7 year old DH got started this year as well and is really good at laying out pages!
I'm SO jealous of anyone who has a great room or area to keep everything organized. Sigh! Maybe someday...
I Love to Scrap!!! I haven't been doing it too long though, just since last October. I've got two albums I'm working on at present. One of them is nearly complete and I've just started the second one. I have only been scrapping current photos and that's keeping me busy as it is. I don't know when I'll find the time to scrap old photos.

I can work on my books. We leave for WDW in 3 days,
I am thinking about the photos I want to take. I am working
on a book then & now.

I have over 9 photo albums done like scrapbooks (about 100 physical pages each) and I have a huge rubbermaid box with 5 more years worth of photos. The albums are falling apart so my next project is to salvage the good parts from the old ones and organize the neglected ones and scan them. I'll set it up on the computer (having one page per screen) and do a digital slide show of them. Keeping them on a CD or DVD makes better storage sense when I've got so much stuff. I'm also going to post them on my website, but I think I've bitten off more than I can chew!!

I am addicted!!
As a stay at home mother of 4, I have many albums in the making. Each child has their own album, one family album AND.....we just returned 6 days ago from WDW. Well, Friday night I plunged into the 18 plus rolls of film! I'm sooooo excited! So far I have 4 layouts done and I can't put it up! ( Thank goodness 2 of the kids will be back in school soon and I'll have a little more time) The problem is that so far each layout is averaging 3-4 hours....(I just want them to be perfect)
I plan on keeping an eye on this board so send some great ideas!

I started to scrap a while back, did about 10 pages in a week and then stopped. It has been months since I have done any pages.....I keep looking at the stuff thinking that I need to start doing it again but I dont. It does not help that I just keep taking more and more pics!!

Mickey's Sunshine....get thee to a workshop! The committment to a certain time will get you working on your album and you will be inspired by other scrappers too. I do get some stuff done at home, but do most of my pages at workshops. Its great to be able to focus!

No workshops in NYC that I know of. Does anyone out there know of one?
I'd be very interesting in going to a few workshops, or classes, etc.

Count me as a scrapbook fanatic. I used to try to scrapbook in chronological order. There was an article in Creating Keepsakes that said if chronological scrapbooking was bringing you down because you just got a new roll of film developed, then do the new roll of film while you are still excited about the pictures and the memories are fresh. You can always go back to chronological. I started doing this and BOY, what a difference. I am able to complete pages faster than before because I am excited about doing them again. Otherwise, I would be doinng pictures from 2 years ago and it would probably take that long to get to the roll that I am currently excited about. Try it if you are feeling like you are sinking and can't swim. It could revive your scrapbooking habits!!!
WDWNovice,
I read a few posts back that you needed some online suppliers. I live in Atlanta, GA and shop at the Best of Times store. They have an online store that I have heard is great. Their store here is fabulous. Check out their website www.scrapbooksuperstore.com I think you will be pleased.

Hello everybody,
I am a new poster to this board, but a long time lurker, and thought I would get in on this one.
I have been scrapping for about 3 years and I am working on a family album and two others for each of my DDs, ages 6 and 4.
I cannot wait to do a WDW one when we return from our trip, which is 10/13 - 10/20.

As a fellow scrapper! I started about 3 years ago and now I work at a scrapbook store to support my addiction :) We just returned from WDW two weeks ago and I'm getting ready to start on my newest album! The scary thing is that I still have pictures in boxes from our last trip to 'The World'. I'm hoping that by starting current and working my way back that I'll be motivated to get them all done!
Any fellow scrapbookers in the greater Seattle area?

I am a dedicated scrapbooker although I don't make it to this board much.
I am busily trying to get most of our summer pictures done now. I currently keep separate albums for me (family album) and my DD. So I end up duplicating many layouts which takes a lot of extra time. I hope to catch up on summer in the next few weeks so I can start gathering supplies and do some pre-Disney pages in the Disney album for our October trip.
And then there's Halloween, Christmas sneaking up fast and then my DD's bday in January. I'm one of those SB'ers that goes crazy when I get too far behind! I think I'm just going to have to accept it this year!

I have been scrapping for under a year off and on. We just buitl a house, so I am working on a scrap book of that. We are also going to WDW in late Nov and I plan to start readyin up a few pages for that before we even go, because we will get back end of 1st week of Dec and my DH and DS have B-days then also, not to mention Christmas, no time for scrapbooks when we return.

Does having tons of supplies, books and a completely blank scrapbook count as being a scrapbooker??
I have beginner's freeze.

It counts Fergie. Sounds like you need to get together with some friends who scrap. That is how I got confident. They would help you with ideas and also pat you on the back.
Hmmm. Maybe we could do that for you on-line. Tell us what you are wanting to scrap and we could share ideas. Then I'd be glad to tell you you are making good progress! :)
Cheering sections always help a lot.
Jump in there and get your feet wet. The water is fine!

[color=indigo]Wow! It sounds like everyones quite busy!! I know what that feels like! I'm currently in the middle of 4 scrapbooks, plus one that needs to be started...I bought everything for it, but times an issue! Plus I leave for WDW for 1 1/2 weeks next week which means....another scrapbook!
I'm working on one from my trip to Lake Tahoe a couple of years ago. Its actually pretty close to being done, I probably have 10-20 pages left. Most of the pictures are outdoors, so I started getting sick of using greens and have stopped on that one for a while.
Also, I have a cruise from 12/99 that I'm trying to finish. Most of the pictures I have left are onboard the ship. I did all the fun pages first (the ports)...now all the pictures from dinner and the casino are left.
Then theres my trip to Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood, Knotts Berry Farm, Soak City and Six Flags Magic Mountain from 8/00. That one is almost done as well thank goodness. I just have to do my backlot pictures from USH and then Six Flags. That one is turning into my favorite album so far. I've always loved putting together Disney albums, but you can do some really fun stuff with Universal as well.
Finally, Disneyland and California Adventure from 5/01. My first trip to DCA! I bought my photo album at DCA, so I started as soon as I got home. It's been really fun to do pages for DCA, its so different from DL!!!! Paradise Pier is a blast. I got some really good theme park stickers and they work really well with the pier.
I have one other cruise to get started on from 2/01. The stack of pictures for it is about 5 inches thick! Ahhhh!!!
Then to top it all off WDW is coming up. Trust me, I'm not complaining about the work, I love vacationing and scrapbooking. It's just so time consuming.
Good luck to everyone on their scrapbooks....does anyone have any pages online??? I love to see other peoples work! By the way, theres an awesome book that I bought about a year ago. It's published by Creating Keepsakes and it has actual scrapbook pages that people have done. All of the pages are disney focused (DL, WDW, cruise line). It's called the Big Idea Book of Disney Memories. It was $15 and worth every cent. I've gotten some great ideas for layouts, fonts and other stuff. I bought mine through http://www.heartlandpaper.com which is a great site for supplies, or you can go to http://www.creatingkeepsakes.com Every Disney scrapbooker needs this book! </color>
:) Joy:)
I love to scrap but I'm not very good at it. I have yet to be happy with my work but I'm hoping that if I keep it up that i will find my 'style' somewhere. I definately enjoy doing it and I like these albums much better than just putting pictures in an album. I think that if I didn't see so many other people's awesome books I would be happier with my own, lol. Thanks a lot folks! j/k :)

I have been scraping for about 10 years (back when you had to use the big old books with brown paper pages. Have about 7 of those I need to redo. I started using CM products about 3 1/2 years ago just after my son was born and loved it so much I became a CM consultant. I only do it on a small scale to get the discount for myself and sell to about 10 friends & their friends. I have finished 3 albums for my son, 1 for my daughter and have a family travel one I am working on. Need to start one of our house remodel over the past 2 years and start ones for my husband's childhood & mine. I love the CM 12x12 albums and colors. Use the sapphire for my son, mulberry for daughter, evergreen for family and plan on using the plum for hubby & me and black for remodel. We are going to Disneyland in a month so I started stocking up on stickers, diecuts and other Disney stuff when I go to the scrapbooking store. I wish CM had Disney stuff but since they like to create their own stuff to be sure it is photosafe they won't go the Disney route. Probably would also be costly to get the Disney license to produce that kind of stuff but you never know.. Going to buy the idea book about Disney pages because it looks like it has a lot of neat ideas..
Having a big 6 hour workshop at my house this weekend so hope to get some scraping done!!
