Did anyone else notice this in the DC newsletter?

Maybe I've just been out of the loop for too long, but I thought I saw that it said, 'there will be two more resorts opening soon'. One was Pop Century and the other was the Villas at the Beach Club in October of 2001!!!

I thought that spring 2002 was wishful thinking! Did I miss something or is this a misprint?

I think Pop Century was supposed to open Oct 2001, but there is a post somewhere here saying it has been postponed. I think BC is still a ways away. Sorry:(

I doubled checked this morning and even on the website it says exactly,

"Scheduled to open October 2001 is the Villas at Beach Club Resort and December 2001 Disney's Pop Century Resort."

I know it was supposed to be way off, but did anyone else receive the June newsletter from the Disney Club? If you are not a member, you can check it out on-line. Just download the June newsletter and click on the 'Did You Know?' section.

I would love a confirmation or correction on this...

Your quote is correct from the DC June Newsletter, however, I think I read on Deb Wills' site that Pop Century does not open until March 2002.

Got our newsletter yesterday. I was confused about the new resorts opening so soon. BCV didn't look anywhere near ready when we were there in May.

Just got our 'Vacation Magic' yesterday. There's a great aerial picture of the Beach Club Villas construction site along with a few facts and the mention of an anticipated opening date of Fall 2002. Guess the Disney Club newsletter made a double misprint.

I received the newsletter today and called - all they would tell me was that the VBC opening was a misprint and they would have a correction in the July newsletter.
