I enjoyed the chat last night, but I wish that I could have lasted longer.

I did get my treadmilling in this morning while watching the rest of the Survivor tape. I walked 35 minutes. I am getting ready to do my crunches, squats, jumping jacks and 8 minute exercises. I had to stop off for some coffee first:D .

I am also getting ready to take a mug into the bathroom and use OhMom's suggestion of everytime I go in there I have to drink my water. I think that will help a lot.

How is everyone else doing with their personal committment? Have a wonderful day and I look forward to hearing from you all.:sunny:

Chat last night was GREAT! And thanks to a phone call at 6AM from North Carolina I actually exercised this morning! Thanks Tammy! (Now, when I read your posts, I'll hear your lovely accent!)

I was also excited to see the scale move downward this AM....two pounds....finally into new territory!

Have a great day everyone...and keep moving!

I taped Denise Austin's exercise 1/2 hour on lifetime yesterday and did that this morning. i was the cardio was longer though. I did my 8 mins in the morning too -- i'm not really sure what i'm committing to do different, but i like to post it keeps me accountable :)

i'm awaiting my DVDs on reserve from the library and looking forward to something new.

Hi everyone! I was so happy to chat with you all last night--what a terrific group of people you all are! I did my Cardio Sculpt this morning as planned, but realized I need to make another comittmment. I have maintained my weight loss for all of four weeks now and have exercised every day, but lately I have been eating junk. It hasn't shown on the scale, but it certainly isn't good for my body or overall health. Sometimes I think that I feel it's OK to "cheat" because I exercise a lot, when exercise is only part of the equation. So, in addition to my committment to exercise 6-7 times a week, I will be eating better--the kind of meals that helped me lose and get fit in the first place--high protein and lots of veggies. I can't blow this now, and I need to give my body the good nutrition it needs to stay healthy. Thanks for all your inspiration everyone--it really, really helps! A big WTG to all who got moving! See you all at check-in tomorrow!:grouphug:

Hi WISH Chatters!! It was fun in Chat last night - although a bit hectic at times! I'm still new to the chat thing, so I think I just need more practice. :p

I got up half an hour early this morning (5 AM) and did my Pilates 20 minute workout. It wasn't a lot, but it was more than I did yesteray (or the day before, or the day before that.....).

Thanks for the extra motivation to get moving again!

Wellllll, I had difficulty in chat last night. Don't know what was up with all that in and out stuff. So, I missed the smooth conversations.
:(
I did get to start off my morning with the 20-minute Pilates cd. I figure that's something.

I was looking over a recommended "schedule" I thought I might use to begin working toward a "walking" goal. I found a recommended training plan for the 10k and 1/2 marathon at this Web site. One is an 18-week plan, the other is a 22-week plan. I thought I would try working on the 10k right now and see where I progress. This should get me through the year. I did the 5k last October and found that I could do it. I am ready to increase. I am working to maintain that 16-minute mile or better for my WDW 1/2 participation.

I like your idea of the commitment to healthy eating along with the exercise. The rest will come with that commitment. I will do my best today.

a 1/2 hour of walking and then some stretching and my weight class after work for 45 minutes. Combined- that was my hours worth of exercise for the day.

Chatting with all of you was great and can't wait until it will really be in person for a lot of us next Jan!

Kim - sounds like good advice you had for yourself - we are going to keep a check on you ;)

I'm up at 5:00 AM tomorrow - I'm sure I'll see some of you then!

Oh, and I am not committing to anymore than what I have been doing - 1 hour of exercise X 6 days a week staying in points and
most importantly no whining about it - cause I am just ready to have this weight off! Contract with myself until March 11th!

Hi everyone,
Chat was fun last night. I did the FIRM Total Sculp Plus Abs for an hour. This one is definately easier than the one I did the other night. Less cardio and more weights. I am not as worn out tonight!!

I am not doing well on eating 2-3 hours prior to bed though. I wanted to eat by 7pm. Its now 7:37 and I am just going to eat now. I need to drink another 4 cups of water for a total of 8.

Great job everyone.

Hi All!

I'm sorry I had to leave early last night. My little guy has a cold and was having trouble sleeping.

I didn't walk as long as I would have liked to. I had forgotten that I had a meeting this afternoon and wasn't free while the kids were in preschool. I did squeeze in 20 minutes on the treadmill while my daughter had her swim lesson at the Y. I'm commited to walking six times this week.

My commitment to greater water intake is so-so. I really need to put my water in a measured container (I do have a 32 oz Nalgene bottle), so that I'm really aware of how much I'm drinking.

Good (early) Wednesday morning everyone! I just finished Firm's Complete Aerobics & Weight Training and thought I'd check in. Yesterday I made a commitment that along with exercising 6-7 times a week, I'd be eating healthier to help maintain my loss. Yesterday was definitely a good day--high protein with lots of veggies and water. I wonder sometimes why I eat such junk, when eating healthier makes me feel so much better both mentally and physically (hmmmm...could it be because the junk tastes so good?...:scratchin :hyper: ) I hope you all have a Happy Hump Day and I can't wait to see how you've all done today! Hugs to all! :grouphug:

Good morning everyone-Yep, I'm up earlier than normal, but am getting ready to head out of town. I have done my 8 minute exercises, squats, cruches, jumping jacks and push ups. Not enough time for the treadmill, but I will be doig lots of walking while I'm gone.

ibouncetoo-It was great speaking with you yesterday and you sounded like you had been awake forever, it was only 6am your time and 8am my time and you were more awake than I was:p . Way to go on your 2 pd loss this week, that is great.

ohMom-Glad to have you join us. It is fine that you aren't committing to doing anything differently, this just kind of helps keep us accountable for what we need to be doing.

luvmydogs-I hear you with the junk food, that has been a problem with me as well. I have got to get back onto my healthier way of eating because I truly feel better when I do. Keep up the great work on your exercise

DoeWDW-5am:crazy: I just don't see how you do it that is a really early hour. I am glad that you got your exercise in like you had planned on.

Tiger Lily 03-I am so sorry that you were having so much of a problem in chat. Hopefully you can get it figured out before Monday night. Way to go on getting your exercise in.

AlreadyexcitedGrammy-You had a pretty active day with eveything and then your weight class. 1 hr. 6x's a week is a great goal and you can stick to that I'm sure with no problem. You are doing great.

MelanieC-It is probably a good idea to mix up your workouts so that you give certain muscles a break while working others. We don't want anybody getting injured. Did you get your other 4 cups of water in last night?

tw1nsmom-I am sorry that your little one wasn't feeling well. I hope that he is better now. I am proud that you at least fit in the amount of exercise that you could instead of just shrugging it off until the next day. Good going. It sounds like some of us does have an issue with getting our water in-take each day. Measuring it out is a great idea and one that I used to do and it does help.

I tried keeping the mug in the bathroom and everytime I went, I drank a cup. It worked great and I plan to do that while I'm gone as well. I hope that everyone keeps going and checking in. I can't wait to get back on Sunday and see how everyone has done. This will be the first thread I check as soon as I hit the door Sunday afternoon.

I had my WI this morning (a few days early since I won't have any scales with me and I am still maintaining). Keep the faith and keep moving.http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_2_118.gif

luvmydogs-You must have posted while I was writing. Good for you for getting your workout done this morning. I am so agreeing with your idea on why we eat things when we know they aren't going to help us feel any better. We all have to find a way to resist those temptations when we don't really need or want them. Keep up the great work.

See you in a few days everyone!

all -- it's wed and i'm on the pc before working out -- not a good sign. But i'll post here to commit myself to 40 mins pilates, my 8 mins in the morning for the day, and finish out with 10 mins of yoga. sound good? if the weather holds out I may try for a 1/2 walk this afternoon before the next round of snow comes tomorrow.

luvdoggies -- i'm soooo with you on the junk food. my problem is holiday weight i'm still hanging onto and junk food do not equal weight loss. DUH! why did it take me a month to figure that one out! I contracted with myself to eat better until March 11 (my WW anniversary) and i'm feeling soooo much more energetic this week -- i'm not crashing at 7 p.m. anymore!

I did this moring's exercise last night! Had an eye Dr. appt after work yesterday and had my eyes dialated...didn't want to drive home that way (ouch...sparkley lites) so went back to the car, got my sneakers and walked the mall for 90 mins! Also had a low-carb meal at Ruby Tuesdays (dry rub ribs....hadn't noticed them on the menu before). So I got to sleep in 30 mins this morning, that was nice. Packing my lunch today, so I may even pop on the treadmill at work!

Have a great day everyone....keep moving!

Hi fellow chatters,

Tammy, I drank another 2 glasses of water and then I went up to watch a movie with DH. I fell asleep after a half an hour, so I didn't finish. That is what I like about the FIRM video's is that there are 4 of them, and they are all a little different. They keep your muscles and body guessing, which makes a huge difference. When I was exercising 6 days a week in the fall (3 FIRM days and 3 WATP days), it was really doing a good job in toning in the right places. I saw great results. Now I just have to get back into the routine of it.

OhMom, I sure hope that Ohio drains all the snow from the clouds before it gets to PA. I am getting tired of the snow, and freezing rain. How do you like Pilates? Which one do you do?

LMD's, Boy I really wish I could get up early and exercise. I have a hard enough time getting up at 6am to get ready for work. One of these days I want to try getting up at 5am and working out. SOMEDAY, hopefully! Great Job! Eating healthy is definately the way to go.

tw1nsmom, Great job of getting some exercise in. You sound like you had a busy day yesterday. Measuring your water in a large cup is a great way to do it. I do good at work, I have a 32 oz WW's mug that is clear so you can see how much you drank. I usually drink at least one of those full of water. I bought one for at home in the evening and Weekends when I was at my meeting Monday night. Hopefully this will help me drink more at home now.

Tonight will be a WATP's night. Not sure if I want to do the 4 mile Express, or the 3 mile Walk away weights. I am working on my first 32 oz of water right now. I hope to have it done by lunch time. Hope everyone has a good day.

Well I did the 3 mile WATP's Walk Away Weights. I really think that video is a much better workout than the 4 mile Express. The arms and weights really make me sweat more than just walking for the 4 miles!!

I have 7 cups of water in, so I will try to get one more in before bed.

well I "jogged" one mile at 5 mph on treadmill. Let me tell you - if I can do it - so CAN you!! I finished the other 3 with a mix up up incline - faster pace- slow down - etc. Amazing going 5 mph and then dropping back to 4.2 I felt like I was going too slow. Also did the first day of the 8 minutes in the morning exercises.

Tomorrow is supposed to be a 1/2 at home and weight class but I might just do 1 hour - have a feeling the class may get cancelled and I just don't come home and work out - we'll see how it goes in the AM.

Melaniec - I have only done the 4 mile express WATP once, but I have already been thinking when I am accustomed to it, I may just use some weights too - what do you think?

Good Thursday morning everyone! I know Tammy's out of town for a few days (Hi Tammy!:wave2: ), so I thought I'd get this thread started today. I just finished Firm's Cardio Sculpt, and was able to increase my weight increments from 8 lbs. to 10 lbs. on more exercises. I also was able to do four straight-leg pushups before I had to go back to bent-knee. Two weeks ago I could only do one straight-leg, so I'm happy about the improvement!:) I ate well yesterday, but did split a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup with dh after dinner. Have a great day everyone, and I can't wait to hear how you all are doing!:sunny:

Well, I didn't exercise at all yesterday. The kids were home sick from preschool. I feel like a slug. Today I think they're well enough to go back to school (they're supposed to go every afternoon) so I will be walking the track at the Y. I told DH that he has to clean out the area around my exercise bike so that if I'm stuck in the house with the kids I'll be able to get some exercise.

Home from work today with a migrane and upset tummy....don't think I'll be doing ANYTHING to increase my heart rate  today! Just the thought makes my head pound! But I am doing some isometrics and some yoga so the day won't be a total waste.

Keep moving kids!

I di d kick it up a notch last night. I did TM for 40 min. I did 2 miles at 3.7 and the rest at about 3.5-2. I got in 2 1/2 miles that way. I am working up slowly as I don't want to injure. Had the problem with foot pain last year. Think it was Plantar Fasciitis (http://www.run-insight.com/traininganalysis-heelpain.html) or somethinglike that. (Achiles tendon pain to the bottom of my foot-ouch) Have orthotics now recommended by podiatrist, not custom, but next best thing. Seem to be working for me.
So anyway, I want to take the start easy to get a good fundation.

Not sure what I will do tonight. May do Winsor Pilaes at least the 20 min cd.

tw1nsmom
02-05-2004, 05:15 PM
Well, I only walked for 1/2 hour. DD's teacher needed to talk to me and that cut into my workout time (I have a lot of excuses don't I:rolleyes: ). On the plus side, I was able to increase my speed a little and I did walk 1.79 miles in those 30 minutes.

I had a question though. Does anyone else have problems with muscle cramps in the front of your calves? I take the time to stretch, but for the first 15 minutes or so I have incredible cramps in that area. I have to stop, stretch those muscles, and start walking again. After another 5 minutes or so I start to feel better and can walk for a long time. Just wanted to know if there's a way to prevent them in the first place.

AlreadyexcitedGrammy
02-05-2004, 10:50 PM
Did a full hour this AM - thought sure my weight class would be cancelled due to weather but it wasn't so did 45 minutes there tonight too. I am good to go for the day!

tomorrow I plan to walk - not sure if I will do anything more than that and the 8 minute a day exercises - but definately will be up early doing a hour of something!

tw1nsmom - make sure you aren't doing too much too quickly. Not sure how long you have been "at it" but a loooooooong time ago I did some walking and thought I had to increase speed, incline more and more each day and found out I was moving forward too quickly and I ended up with a stress fracture in my lower calf. As I remember it, I thought I was having muscle cramps and tried to "walk" them out. Maybe someone else will have answer or try searching on the net for a clue, too.

Tiger Lily 03
02-06-2004, 09:55 AM
Last night I did maintain my increased speed/time. I did TM 40 minutes at 3.7 which equals about 2.5 miles. I will try to continue at this speed and time for a bit.

This morning I started my day with the 20 minute Winsor Pilates cd. Still trying to regain core strength.

tw1nsmom--you may have 2 things going. I am not medical here but, cramps may be caused by not enough hydration and potassium as far as I am aware.

Pain "in front of your calves" (shins?) may be a sign of shin splints (http://www.runnersworld.com/home/0,1300,2-78-79-529,00.html).

You want to back off a bit. I have found a good exercise to help strengthen and assist in avoiding shin splints that can be done most any place. You can sit and "draw" the alphabet with your toes. This will give those muscles a bit of a workout without the stress of walking/running and will build them up a bit. The article I have linked above may give you more insight.

I will be away tonight and tomorrow so I will probably not get in my exercises. Not sure yet if I can "squeeze" it into some place. Because of everyone here, I will try!
:sunny: Good luck to all!

Hello everyone,

Last night I did the FIRM Complete Aerobics and Weight Training and I walked up and down the stairs 10 times. Actually I ran up and down the stairs and by the time I had done it 5 times, my legs were feeling like lead. I had to slow it down. I was really out of breath.

Luvmydogs- The Maximum Cardio Burn is the one with Ally in it. That one is the hardest that I have ( I have 4 of them, Maximum Cardio Burn, Complete Aerobics & Weight Training, Total Sculpt plus abs and Cardio Scuplt). I haven't tried Cardio Sculpt. It's only 34 minutes, so I should break it out some time when I am short on time. Do you like that one? The FIRM tapes really have done wonders! I really think they are the reason why I fit into smaller size clothes now. The last time I lost weight , and I was around the same weight (7 pounds higher) but I wore much larger size in clothes. I really think doing these tapes last fall for 2 1/2 months really caused me to loose inches even when the pounds weren't moving as fast.

Tigerlily- You make me so excited to get my treadmill. I would love to be able to hop on a TM and go for several miles at a nice intensity. Great job on the 40 minutes! I know what you mean about trying to fit it in because of everyone here. That is how I felt last week. I really don't think I would have actually started if it wouldn't have been for Tammy & Kathy 2 Monday's ago!!
Bev-Wow a full hour in the morning and 45 minutes of WEIGHTs! You are my hero!!! That is so fantastic! You are going to be at goal in no time. I have to figure out a way to get myself up in the morning. I don't think I am ready at this point. Maybe after a few weeks of regular exercise I can try to change, but I don't think I am ready yet.

Ibouncetoo- I hope you are feeling better! Migranes and exerercise definately don't mix.

tw1nsmom - As far as your cramps go. You may want to have a doctor check it out. They might be able to give you so pointers. Try not to push yourself so hard till you find out. I hope it gets better soon.

tw1nsmom
02-06-2004, 11:11 AM
Thanks for all the great advice everyone. I think maybe I have been pushing myself too hard. No matter how many times I tell myself that I don't have to keep up with everyone at the track, I just hate it when everyone is lapping me. Before I was married, I used to walk 2 miles every day and 4-6 miles on the weekend. I could easily walk a 15 minute mile. I haven't done any significant/consistant exercise since the twins were born (they'll be 4 April 2nd), I'm several years older and several pounds heavier. It just really bugs me when I'm walking a 25 minute mile. I'm sure if I back of a little on my walking speed and alternate walking with exercising on my recumbant bike the cramps will improve. If they don't I'll be sure to see the doctor.

As for the twins, they must be feeling better. We're having a snow day and all they've done is bug each other/fight since they woke up:rolleyes: . We've all gotten used to having a break from each other every day. (In case I haven't mentioned it before, they're names are Katie and Spencer. Spencer has some developmental delays and Katie receives OT and PT. Because of this they go to preschool five afternoons a week for 2 1/2 hours...that's when I exercise and get my sanity back. They really are fantastic, smart, funny, sweet children...but if we have to stay inside together for many more days we're going to go  ) (Btw...Dh's name is Carl and the family is rounded out by our black lab Chip)

I did WATP's 3 mile Walk away weights. I also ran up and down the stairs 10 times (both up and down). Boy is that a workout. I am more tired in that 5 minutes than I am doing an hour of the FIRM!!

Tomorrow I hope to get in an hour of the FIRM. I'll probably try Maximum Cardio burn since I can do it earlier in the day. Boy that really wears me out!

We are all doing such a terrific job.

Hello everyone,

I did the FIRM Maximum Cardio burn this morning, and ran up and down the stairs 10 times. I think I will wait a few weeks to do that one again. I have a hard time keeping up with the steps, and since it's so early into me starting to exercise again I should wait till my speed and stamina builds up. The abs on that tape are great though. They are a killer!!

Luvmydogs, how do you like the Cardio Sculpt? I haven't tried that one yet. Maybe I will try that one Monday. Great job on doing both! You go girl!

Can't wait to hear how everyone else's Saturday is going!

Hi Melanie and great job getting moving today! I like Cardio Sculpt a lot--Allie's the instructor (she's my favorite), and it runs about 55 minutes including the stretch at the end. I find it a little easier than Complete Aerobics & Weight Training, but still a very good workout. I do wonder why they call it Cardio Sculpt though--I thought the emphasis would be more on the aerobic portion, but it's pretty much three shorter segments of cardio (some on step, some off), with their usual weight work and lunges/squats/leg press. I'm not disappointed in it at all, just think the title is a little misleading if you're looking for a mostly cardio workout. Have you ever been to the discussion boards at www.videofitness.com ? You know how the people at the DIS know so much about Disney? Well, the people on the Reader's Forum there know that much about video workouts! I just started scanning the boards last night, but it looks like they have a ton of info.! And I am going to try running up and down my steps like you do--it sounds like it's great leg work! Hope you have a great day today, and a big WOO HOO for working out! See you at check-in tomorrow Melanie!:wave2:

Good Sunday Morning everyone-

tw1nsmom- biking sounds fun. Did you do it outdoors, or is it an indoor bike? It's way to cold here to do it outside. I can't wait till Spring & Summer.

ibouncetoo- 70 degrees sounds so wonderful and glorious! I grew up in Vegas, so I really miss the warmer winter days, although I know the desert gets cold too! This freezing weather is really getting me down right now. I would just love a week of warm weather so I can get outside and do something. Right now, just walking to your car is enough to make you want to stay inside.

luvmydogs-
My Cardio Sculpt is different. I just went to pull it out and it is Called Cardio Sculpt blaster with Lisa Kay. It's still in the shrink wrap and I have never even opened it. It's only 34 minutes, so it's a quick one. The one I have will Allie is Maximum Cardio BUrn Plus Abs. That one is mostly cardio and I don't like it as much. Maybe once I ge more stamina and feel like I can keep up. She is moves ahead of me in that one, because I get tired easier. The ones where they switch weight training and cardio is so much easier. The weight training allows me to rest in between.
Thanks for the link, I am going to check it out.

Still trying to decide if I want to exercise today. I may make today my rest day, since that is how I used to do it. Then again, it's easier to exercise on Sunday than Monday, so maybe I will rest tomorrow.

tw1nsmom
02-08-2004, 12:03 PM
It's definitely an indoor bike! I am a wimp this year when it comes to the cold. It's a recumbant bike. The regular ones kill my back. I'm planning on riding it for a half hour later when Dh is home to watch after the kids.

Hi everyone! I can't believe Sunday's nearly over already and Monday's almost here!:crazy2: Hope you all had a nice weekend and are feeling really good about your committment to get healthier--everyone's doing such a great job! I did Complete Aerobics & Weight Training this morning--but barely. I had to really force myself to exercise because I was just NOT in the mood! I was able to do the entire push-up section with straight legs, except for the last two (moaning and grunting and groaning the whole way!)--I'm seeing such an increase in strength from using weights. We then went out to lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant where I ate a bean burrito, but skipped the nacho chips entirely--I could make a meal out of those things all by themselves and can't believe I resisted.

Tw1nsmom-Great Job on your 35 minutes of biking! Regular bikes hurt my back too!

Melanie-I know what you mean about needing a rest day. You don't want to get burned out and not feel like exercising at all! You definitely deserve a break--you've been working so hard!

Tammy--WELCOME HOME!

Will anyone else be in Chat tomorrow? I hope to make it there to hear how everyone's week went! Keep up the awesome work everybody!

I couldn't get to the boards until now to see how everyone had done for the week. I had a great time away, and did get my exercises in that I had planned. I didn't drink as much water as I should have, but I am back on plan tonight. I will probably be making many visits to the bathroom during the night.

I am so excited to have read how well everyone did while I was gone and thanks for everyone encouraging each other. Do you all still feel that it helps to have a check-in place for our personal committments? I do believe that it helps me.

I am committing to my 30 minutes on the TM in the morning and my squats, crunches, jumping jacks and push-ups along with the 8 min. exercises.

Sorry that I can't acknowlege everyone on what a great job you did, but I am so excited that we are challenging ourselves. It may not be in the same way as everyone else, but the is the thing, we are all in different places, but need the same thing "support".

I am going to do my best to be in chat tomorrow night at least for a little while. Will we see any others there? After tomorrow night, we will be ready for week 3 of our committments and I think that is just great.

I'm going to run now and try to get settled before bed. Lots to do tomorrow as it always is after coming home from a trip. Have a wonderful evening and I can't wait to get on the boards and get caught up.

Hi Tammy! Glad you're back and hope you're trip went well! WOW--you got all your exercise in? That is soooo great, and shows such a strong level of committment! Excellent job!

I know I really enjoy the daily check-in--it's a big motivator for me, and I look forward to everyone's posts to see how we're all progressing. A big THANKS for getting this thread started!

I hope to be in Chat for at least a little bit too, and can't wait to catch up with everyone's week. Have a good night Tammy, and I hope to talk with you tomorrow!

I was determined to get it in especially since I didn't have the treadmill. We did have a wonderful trip.

I have finished my TM of 35 min. this morning and am getting ready to do my other exercises.

How is everyone else doing today? Today completes our 2nd week of committments. Keep up the great work everyone.

See you in chat tonight.

Hey everyone,

Tammy, welcome back! Glad you had a great time, and great job on getting your exercise in while you were away!

This check in has been wonderful for me. I know it has given me a new sense of comittment and renewal in my exercise. I don't think I would be exercising if this comittment thread wasn't started. We are doing such a great job. It's hard to believe we are starting our 3rd week. It feels good to know I am starting to work towards building my stamina for the marathon. I know I will need to increase it by next January! By A LOT!

I will be in chat tonight after WI, at least for a little bit. Talk to everyone tonight!

Hi everybody! Did Cardio Sculpt this morning and just came back from a walk around the neighborhood--probably about two miles or so, but it was more of a pleasure walk. It's just too nice to stay inside today! I plan on doing Complete Aerobics & Weight Training tomorrow. Glad everyone is doing well with their exercise committments! I'll say it again--this thread keeps me so motivated and I look forward to checking-in everyday to see everyone's accomplishments. I'm really happy we all have each other.:) Keep on moving WISHers and I hope to see you in chat!

I went back to the track at the Y today.I took it really easy for the first 20 minutes and then sped up after that. I think it takes me a full 20 min. to warm up, because today I didn't get any shin cramps. I was just going to fast at the start of my walks. I walked for a total of 35 minutes.
