Can you take the bus to a Downtown Disney hotel and then walk to Crossroads?

We would like to go to the Red Lobster at Crossroads plaza one night, but will be flying and have no vehicle. Is it possible to take a bus to Downtown Disney and walk to the Crossroads shopping center? I know a cab is an option, but just trying to save a few bucks!

Yes, you can do that. From the bus stop at Marketplace follow Hotel Plaza Blvd to Crossroads. I estimate the distance to be about a half mile, one way. There are sidewalks all the way.

We stayed at CBR one year without a car. The 1st night we took the bus to DD, walked over to Crossroads, had dinner at TGI Fridays then went to Goodings Supermarket for some supplies and took a cab back down the street to DD (only a few bucks) and took Disney buses back to resort. I guess we should of taken the cab all the way back to CBR, but we didn't realize how short a cab ride it would be and were also trying to save a few bucks! Go and enjoy!:D
