This board always has good advice, so I'm hoping someone can help me out on this one.

Last year we bought 4 day hopper passes for me, my husband, and my daughter. My other daughter was only 2 at the time so she was free. We only used 3 of our 4 days. We are going back to disney in a few days. I was planning on getting a one day hopper pass for my daughter (now 3). We wanted to go to Animal Kingdom, then hop over to Magic Kingdom in the late afternoon. I just found out that they don't have a one day hopper pass (guess I just assumed). Does anyone know if they have a discount rate if you go to the parks after a certain time? We figure we'll only be at MK for a few hours, I can't justify paying full price for a 3 year old's admission for that short of time.

Also, If we do decide to spend our one day hopper on only one park - is it going to be a waste if we use it on Animal Kingdom?

Thanks!

First of all, there is no such thing as a one-day hopper pass. I sure wish there was. There is also no such thing as a cheaper pass for after a certain time of day, unless you're attending a convention. I'm not sure what I would do if I were you. Have you tried calling CRO to explain the situation to them?

If I were only going to do one day, one park with a 3yo, I would make it MK. Definitely NOT AK. It closes very early, and has only a few rides.

I called Disney - their reply was that there is no one-day hopper pass and if we want to go to two parks in one day we will have to buy my daugher 2 one day passes. I didn't ask them about the cheaper rate for only going a few hours. The CM I talked to wasn't very friendly or helpful.

Thanks for the advice. I think MK would be best too, but Animal Kingdom is the only park we haven't been to (except for a few hours to ride the safari and see the Lion King show). I was wondering though if there were any rides there other than the safari ride. I guess I could check the disney site and see what there is to do there.

The only time I've seen a one day hopper available was when we planned our wedding there, they were offered to our guests through group/convention purchases.

If you think there is a chance you'll be back before your daughter is 10, would you consider buying the 4 days and saving those for a future date? It may not be the best budget choice now but would give you hopping choices and would maybe pay off in the future?
