Use of Laptop in the Portofino?

Hiya,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is the ability to plug your laptop into a phone line @ the Portofino and access the Internet?

You can plug a modem connection into the telephone. The phone has a data jack. I think local calls cost $1, though.

I didn't dial in from the PBH my last few times, but I can tell you the HRH has a thirty minute "limit" on calls, after which you get charged five or ten cents per minute, in addition to the buck or so every call costs you to begin with.
