how late do buses run after closing?

I would like to see the water pagent but will be dependent on disney bus transportation to get back to my resort. If MK closes at 9, how long after do they still have buses running? Anyone know?

Busses run until all the guests have left the park. That last bus however, waiting for the straglers may end up going to multiple resorts.

We stayed in DTD and our bus driver told us that those buses go up until 2 hrs after Park closing... Don't know for sure though cuz we always left prior to Park Closing to avoid the crowds...

I'll fine tune that a bit... I believe the buses don't stop running until 2 hours after the last of the four parks closes.

Okay, somewhat OT. However, if I choose to wait about (say) 1 hour after the park closes, will any of the store be open? Just places to hang around and/or shop until the crowd subsides, of course.

The main stores in the parks stay open for some time after the parks close. WDW realizes that people often postpone purchases until late in the day so they won't have to carry the items thru the parks with them (assuming they can't use resort delivery). However, I'm not sure if they'll stay open over an hour after the parks close.

I would be comfortable with an hour for shopping after closing. They are pretty good about letting you spend money, LOL.
