Help with Hilton Head

Friends of ours are very interested in joining DVC and are wanted to go check out Hilton Head. They would like to go this summer. They have already gone through the tour at Boardwalk but feel that HH is the place they want to buy. They want to see the property first. They are having problems getting reservations, of course because it is summer. Can anyone give me any suggestions on what I could tell them to do. I hate for them to stay off site . They are also leary about staying anywhere else but if they have to, does anyone have any suggestions as to some nice places on Hilton Head.

What I would do is have them contact their sales guide. They should tell the guide that they are interested in buying at HH, but want to stay on site first. I would not be surprised if the guide could get them a reservation. If nothing else, its worth a shot.

Since HH is getting close to selling out, there are few rooms available for cash rental and most summer reservations available to members have a wait list.

If there are any available, it is more likely to be within 30 days when the wait list first ends. They can try their guide, but the resort is truly filled at this point- except for possible cancellations.
