April for a trip?

I am not sure if this is the correct board to post this but I could not think of a good place that it would fit in so here it is.

How is the middle or end of April for a trip to Disney? How is the weather, crowds, and prices? Are the parks open late and all the water parks running?

Any info would be helpful. My brother, wife and kids want to go but have to go either the end of March or April due to work schedules.

Heres a bump for ya. I would also like to know all of this. I'm going April 21-26.

The weather in April is beautiful (80's +). The water parks are all running as usual. The third week of April is Spring vacation in the Northeast so it's usually busy, the following week is slower. Of course along with the busier times comes longer park hours so it's really a trade off. Since Easter isn't at that time next year the crowds should be better. The weather in April is better than March and it still isn't usually too hot. It's my favorite time of year to visit.

We agree!!! We always go the end of April, beginning of May and it is GREAT!!!! The weather and the crowds are perfect. Wouldn't go any other time!!!

More crowded, but just gorgeous weather, moderate to hot during day, cool mornings and at night, low humidity, all-around comfortable. Week before and week after Easter time parks with exception of Animal Kingdom are open late which is a plus.
