What's going on with WDW-DINE?

We were trying to call the special V&A's number this morning, to make Chef's Table reservations, and it just sent us straight to WDW-DINE, who is now handling Chef's Table reservations. However, we waited in the queue for a while, then it bumped us to voicemail and forced us to either leave a message or get hung up on. By the time they called us back, the Chef's Table had been booked! We tried calling 4 or 5 times, all with the same result: dumped into voicemail. It used to let us just hold for a cast member. What's going on with WDW-DINE now? Any suggestions for getting our reservations?

I called at 7 a.m. this past Tuesday and Wednesday to get our PS's and had a wait on hold for around 9 minutes until we got a person. I'm not sure what problem you are encountering. You might want to try different times of the day. I called about 2 weeks ago in the evening and was on hold for 40 minutes but was never put into voicemail. Try again and good luck!!!

Hi! I have to call at 7 am, b/c I am trying to make Chef's Table reservations at V&A's, which is one of those high demand ressies.
We weren't allowed to stay on hold - we would be on hold for about 2 minutes, then it kicked us to voicemail. To be fair, the CM did call us back later (after the table was booked, of course) and told us they'd had an incredible volume of calls that day. So maybe that's the problem - I don't know, b/c before, we were always just allowed to stay on hold.
