I've never seen this addressed. Are there any perks for people who own Disney stock?::MickeyMo

Actually, in the case of Disney, no perks for stock holders is a perk in itself. I guess that would help the bottom line and the drive the stock price up!!

Stockholders used to be able to purchase a Magic Kingdom Club membership at a reduced price. That vanished with the Disney Club, which in turn just vanished at the end of the year.:(

Well, you do get a really pretty stock certificate with Mickey and the gang on it. Does that count??
We bought our stock in Dec of whatever year and it was the following year in like Jan that they got rid of the option of the Magic Kingdom Club membership. And let me tell you, the 21cents per share are not adding up quickly as far as dvidends, nor has the stock gone up much! I'd rather have more fun perks!

My stocks were a Christmas present MANY years ago from DH. It's not much [I'll never get rich], but, HEY, at least I own a part of Disney! Perks would be nice, though........
A really long time ago, maybe in the late 80's you used to get discounts on the resorts! I once went to an annual stockholder's meeting at the Contemporary. It was awesome! They even had entertainment. It was when Pochohantis was about to open, they had a special preview and the man who did the songs for the movie.
They gave us a breakfast, had all the chacrters on hand. On our way out they gave us a park ticket.
They haven't held one at WDW since :(

It's really pretty crappy. I am so surprised that the stockholders haven't joined together to say, "WE WANT BENEFITS!!!". ::yes::
