absolutely not!! we celebrated our 30th anniversary on the magic. be sure to let them know you are celebrating! there are areas on the ship/castaway cay that are adults only. be sure to try to get a reservation for palo. fabulous!!! happy anniversary!
We just went as a party of 3 adults. No different than the parks IMO. Actually, somewhat different because there are places to go and not be around kids. But we love Disney, and part of that is enjoying the laughs and smiles on the kids faces.

How old are your kids. I would be afaid go to. Of course this is coming from a man who was really missing his kids when he went to see "Cheaper by the Dozen" on a business trip.

DD (over 21) and I have been on 5 DCL cruises with no little ones and have a great time each cruise. There is plenty to do for adults - or not, as you wish. As ms1 said it is fun to watch the kids on board.
Hope this helps.

We love DCL - with or without my 3 DS's. Our first cruise with without them as is our next one. Disney has adult only spots so you do not have to have constant contact if that is what you choose. Plus, it is so much fun to watch the younger set with the characters - I enjoy that part.

DH and I have done 2 Magic cruises and a Wonder cruise, all without children (ours are grown) and we had a great time on each one. It's nice they have separate areas for adults and they are diligent about enforcing the "no kids" rule.

my DD (25) and I just came back from a 7 night western... The only time we saw a lot of kids was when we were near the Mickey Pool. We'd go up to deck 10 to the over 18 section forward, so you'll only see children walking through to the basketball courts, not sitting there, screaming, being loud or obnoxious. I didn't really see any "out of control" children either during the whole cruise!!
There's tons for adults to do onboard!! We used the stairs a lot and seemed like the only children using the stairs where the ones running to beat their friends on the elevator.
there were only a few teenagers at the late movies most of the time, but so many empty seats they didn't effect anyone.
And at dinner, we were seated with a group of 3 women, a family of 3 with a 17 year old, and another couple. Daniel didn't feel out of place with a bunch of "older people". He actually looked forward to dining with us all. We had all sorts of games, card tricks and jokes each night to make thing lively.
