When to go - last week of April or 1st week of May??

I am trying to nail down my airfare today (yippee!!) I've got it narrowed down to 2 weeks based on available flight times & prices.

1) April 20-27 (Tuesday - Tuesday) Negatives: Grad nights ??
I think it may also be a school vacation week??

2) May 4-11 (Tuesday - Tuesday) Negatives: I think I read
somewhere of a convention going on at the Universal hotels???

Which would you pick for us and why? :) Grad nights are a big minus right now because parks would close at 6:00. However, if there is a big convention going on, that would be a biggie too - I heard they frequently close to RPR pool due to conventions?? We plan on using the pool each afternoon as a break from the parks.

Hi Kimberly :wave: We missed you guys in Spet 2002 and looks like we are going miss you again. I think May would be the best time. I think it would be less crowded. I hadnt heard about the pool closing during conventions--that would be a big negative for us. Cant you pool hop at the Universal pools?? If so that might be an option.

Hi Deena! Too bad we couldn't meet up since I blew it last time!! It would have been so fun to hook up with another Dis'er! Thanks for your input! It looks like we are definately going the first week of May. If they close the pool, then we can pool hop like you said, so it won't be that bad....
