Driving to All Stars from Tampa

How long will it take to drive from Tampa to the All Stars? We are thinking of flying into Tampa rather then Orlando.....$183/ticket vs. $225 or more. I was able to get a rate for a rental car of $170 for the week with all the fees and taxes. Do we need any additional insurances? or does the credit card on suffice? Thanks for any advice....our dates are Aug 18 - Aug 26. Thanks again.

It should take about 1 1/2 hrs to get from Tampa to Walt Disney World.

Generally speaking, you usually don't need any extra insurance for the rental car. If you have full coverage on your car at home, it probably also covers the insurance on rental cars. You can check your policy before your trip to be sure. If not, check with your credit card company and they may cover rental car insurance. Most gold cards do cover the insurance as well as some others.

It takes me just about 1 hour from TPA to OKW.
As to insurance, call you insurance company, see if you are covered for rentals. also, check your credit card companies.
