Okay...I'm trying to plan ahead here and wondering what a good airfare for Christmas is from Boston/Providence..preferably Providence. What can I expect to pay? Anyone?

We flew out of TFG Christmas day. We always fly Southwest. As always I try and wait for the deals and kept checking the Southwest web site daily as soon as they extended the dates. It seemed as though they had no available flights for the longest time, stupid me thought that no one flew on Christmas day! I kept waiting and waiting and finally one day called to see when they were going to open the seats up, lol. They were full! I ended up paying $2300 for 7 of us to fly roundtrip-ugh! I booked and one morning when I could not sleep I was checking web site and lo and behold Southwest was having a sale. I quickly called and asked for help as there was 7 of us and I did not want to end up with 6 tickets! I ended up getting a $700 savings that morning and believe it or not our ticket numbers ended in ELF! The lady at Southwest laughed while she was helping me. If the tickets had been non-refundable we would have just gotten a credit to use in a year. Long story sorry but my point is to let you know to book before they all fill up. Hope this helps some!
