I am thinking about joining but just not sure. How is it working for you?

It works surprisingly well for me, Kat. I've been going for a few months now, and it really tightened me up. It's helped tremendously with inch loss vs. weight loss.
I started out wearing a 28W bottom, 26W top. I'm in a 14/16 top and an 18W bottom now, so it's gotta be working, lol.
I had to give it up for awhile when I received my sister's baby, but then the facility in my neighborhood started opening at 7AM, so I can go before work.
Give it a try!

I am still on my trial week at Curves. I have been twice so far and I really like it. I look forward to going again. I have notice a little difference in just two days. :Pinkbounc

I've been going since October. I like it a lot. There are 2 types of people who go to mine. The ones who work, and the ones who socialize. Between Curves and atkins, I'm down 33# and 21 inches. The only problem with Curves is the hours.

Prices are different regionally. I paid 69 to join, and it's 39 a month direct debited out of checking. I know people who pay 29 a month direct debited, down in So. Jersey. It's still cheaper than most other gyms and it's an in and out kind of thing.
Luckily we don't have much of a socializing problem at our Curves - everyone works and leaves, and if they are there with a friend they talk while working.
Good luck!

What can I say about Curves ??? ... LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT !!!
I have been going since March, and I am down 35 pounds and just over 30 inches. I love the fact that it doesn't take up too much time away from my family, and that most of the women there are in the same boat as me. I would go and ask about a week trial, and if they have any deals coming up on their initiation fee.
I think you'll love it :)

I have been going for about 10 weeks now and I do really like it. I am down 10.75 inches and .5 pound. I can't complain about the weight since it during a lot of the time that I was on an "Atkins Vacation."
I go 3 times a week. That is what they recommend, and I am home in under an hour. That's travel, changing shoes, doing the circuit, doing all of the stretches, and chit-chatting with whomever. I am sure that others can do it quicker. :)
Give it a try. It's definately worth it to me. :)

Another Curves lover here. I joined the day ours opened, last April. I'm down 30 inches and about 21 pounds! I actually am the second biggest loser at our Curves! I *try* to go 3 times a week, but with the hours and dh having patients in the hospital more this time of year, I don't always make that. During the summer/fall there weren't many weeks that I missed my three times.
