Didn't see this started, so I thought I would go ahead. I did well this week, again. I am down 4.5 pounds! I have been on plan continuously, and have been drinking all my water. I am sure to slow down next week (TOM), but for now I am very happy!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce: ::yes::
We can do this together!!:grouphug:

I lost 1 pound which is great considering that I had the stomach flu most of the week and all I ate was chips, crackers, etc. I got back on plan Friday. Onward and downward! :Pinkbounc

After a week being back OP I lost about 5lbs and I'm now down to 175 - only 2 more for a new clippie. I also did really well with exercise this week which probably helped a lot too.

I'm up a pound but I've lost half an inch off my waist and my rings are looser. I'm guessing all this working out is building my muscles. :p

Congratulations to all the losers this week, and DoeWDW, I bet you're putting on muscle you macho girl! I've been maintaining at 123-125 for @ two weeks now, and this morning I was 124 1/2. Have a great day everyone, and I can't wait to hear all your reports next week!:) :) :)

Hi Everyone,
I maintained last week, which seems to be my usual pattern now. A couple of weeks of maintaining, then a week of loss. I did try the low carb menu at Ruby Tuesday's last evening. I never saw a restaurant so packed! There were coupons in the Sunday paper the previous week. I don't know if that was the reason or because of the menu options now available.
What I had was very good (chicken, broccoli, and mashed cauliflower), but it seems the chicken portion was really small. I did split the low carb cheesecake with DH (I think it was only 3 carbs a slice), and it tasted like the real thing!
It is really snowing hard here this morning...another day to stay indoors. We'll be rooting for the Eagles later today, so I guess DH and I will be couch potatoes.
Congrats to all the losers, be it pounds or inches. Onward and downward!

I am happy to report a loss of two pounds this week. I seemed to have really slowed down on the weight loss, I may kick it up a notch.

Well, I lost that 1.5 lb. that I needed to to get my new clippie!!!
And I was able to reach my 2nd 10% goal- which is a very good thing!!
We tried the 'carb friendly' menu at Ruby Tuesday's also- the steak was great and big enough to share! The creamed spinach had a bit too much pepper for DH (I don't do cooked spinach), and the creamed cauliflower was just that. I like fresh better.
The price of the salad bar has gone up to $6.99 now :( and we paid it for me. DH had the 'add salad bar' for $1.99 with the entree. And to add insult to injury, the table next to us ordered salad bar and were feeding their whole family off of it!!!
We did the cheesecake too (6 carbs a slice) and shared it- so that was 3 carbs for each of us. DH about slid under the table in bliss... it was that good!!!
Congratulations to everyone- and onward and downward we go!!

The cheesecake is so good there! But, FYI, it is 6 carbs per slice. And well worth every bite! ::yes::

Well after my battle this week with "Aunt Flo", I am happy to say that I am down another 5 pounds!
That's a grand total of 10 pounds for my first 2 weeks of Atkins Induction!
I am SO looking forward to the coming weeks, not dreading continuing this "diet" like I though I might. I've found so many good things to eat that I didn't even know I liked....(broccoli and califlour), and I've got lots of new recipes that I've got on my menu to try this week.
My only regret is that I waited so long to get started, and that I took so long finding WISH!

I'm happy to report that I am joining the parade of losers this week! I'm down 2.5 pounds which brings my loss to 25 pounds since 12/1/03!!!! I just grabbed my new clippie and life is good.
DH and I enjoyed dinner at Ruby Tuesday's last Sunday. I had the new orleans cajun fish and shrimp dish with broiled cajun talapia and shrimp scampi on top (with an alfredo sauce but thank goodness mine had very little sauce), I had the broccoli and mashed cauliflower which was surprisingly good. Of course for dessert DH and I had the cheesecake. It was so good! Btw, we did NOT share. And I thought it was well worth the $5. We definitely will be back!

Congrats to all this week ... and especially Paula for hitting onederland ! :D
I maintained this week, which I'm quite OK with because TOM decided to last 8 days  I am very happy to report, though, that I completed my first official week of 1/2 Marathon Walking training. And that included a 45 minute trudge through a whack of snow yesterday. :faint:
Have a great week, everyone !

Well, no loss for me this week. I have stuck to induction foods as usual but I have not done my exercise tapes or had nearly enough water ( I just don't feel like water when it is cold!! - thw weather not the water that is!!)
I do wish I had had a loss as it is vacation time in just 3 days - I will try to make good choices but I am expecting a gain on my return!!
Hope everyone has a successful couple of weeks!

Hi Everyone!:wave2:
I lost 2 pounds this week. I was sick with a stomach virus this week and it was TOM, so I thought I might have lost more. Oh well! I'm going to try to start exercising this week again. It seems evey time I get started I have to stop because I get the latest virus/cold going around. I will be glad when spring gets here!:sunny:

Lost 5 lbs. this week and kinda nervous about this next week! I usually do great the first week of dieting and then I fall off the second week, due to lack of sugar and carbs getting the best of me!
But I feel pretty good about staying focused this time!! I can do it!!!!::yes::

No loss for me this week. :( I think I need to pick up my pace a little bit on my Gazelle. I'm still doing my 30 min/day, but the gague on it says I'm not going as far as I had been going. I thought the gague might be broken, but it's working OK for DH. I just need to get my little legs pumping a bit faster! :earseek: Exercise really does seem to make a big difference in my weight loss, so no excuses for me!
I saw a lot of losers this week, congrats to all of you. I'll be joining you in the loss column next week.

Well.... after 2 weeks on Induction (again), I've dropped 9 pounds (5 the 1st week and 4 the 2nd week.) I'm down to 381. Got a long, long way to go, but I'll get there. I probably would have lost more, but I didn't do too much this week because I was on vacation, didn't go anywhere but sat around at home.. I had a week to take before the end of January or I would have lost it.
Congratulations to everyone else who was a LOSER this week! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Officially I am 6/40 for my FINAL 40!! Then I'll be sporting that GOAL clippie!!! YEAH! I exercised 3 days at the Y for an hour and 15 minutes- did not manage my two planned 4 mile walks- a cold snap hit us and I just won't do it if it's under 40 degrees! :)
But I lost 2 pounds for a grand poobah weigh in at 177! I was SOO hoping to see 176 today but TOM started last night so I'm just tickled I lost 2 pounds in spite of TOM! This week was my last induction period and I was extremely faithful, now I'm going to add a fruit in and a piece of wheat toast daily to help with my bouts of low blood sugar from the long workouts at the Y. It'll be interesting to see how it affects my loss for next week.
My GOAL weight is set at 143- and once I reach that we'll just see where my weight settles with all the training for the marathon- but once I hit 143- no more forbidden foods- if I want a brownie- I'll have one- but only very few and all the walking will help burn it off! :) LET'S GET THESE UNWANTED POUNDS a new home!! :)
OFF WITH THE OLD- in with the new body!!! :)

It's a one pound loss for me this week. I'm at the stage where I'm wondering how I'm ever going to lose 26 pounds. Oh well, that's 13 pounds gone since I've started WISH in Feb. 2003, up and down. If it's true that losing it slowly is good, then I'm great! Diana

I'm down 7 pounds this week, and kept to my goal of 3 Curves Workouts/week. I only got in 1 WATP though. I'd like to get that up to 2-3/week.

2 pounds (barely) gone for me this week. I was really hoping for more, considering I didn't lose anything last week. I guess I've got a plateau going on - my clothes are still getting looser (I've noticed a change over just the last 7 days), and I'm definitely a size 22, and yet the scale barely moves.
This has been a significant mental and emotional challenge for me lately, keeping up the healthy eating and exercise while the scale refuses to show me what I want (and need) to see. I'm not planning to give up, not by a long shot, but I have become dependent on that weekly affirmation from the scale, and it's harder to persevere without it.
In an attempt to break through this plateau, I am planning to increase my daily morning jog by 5 minutes (I need to map out a longer route!). If that doesn't make a difference this week, I'll probably look to my eating plan, possibly removing 100-150 calories/day. I don't think I'm eating too much right now, especially considering all my exercising, but it's certainly one possible cause for the plateau.
At least the scale moved at all this week - and I finally made my second 10% goal, and entered the 230's! :teeth:
Have a good week, everyone!

Congratulations to all who have posted here, we're doing it :hyper:
I've lost 2lbs this week, which I'm quite happy with. The BF has moved into my home and I can't seem to get rid of her!! My lower legs and ankles are so swollen that if I push my fingers in there are huge indentations. It's like playing with Play Doh!! Anyway I am hoping to have a big whoosh sometime soon. I am planning on just drinking my water this week, to see if that will do the trick. On a brighter note a was able to get a new clippie this week, so I'm excited about that :teeth:
Hopefully we will all have a good week. Onward and downward we go together :grouphug:

Wow what a great week around here!
Bacrd, Valentine, Catherine, Kayeandjim00, Flower, Zerasprise - New Clippees! Yaahhhoooo!::yes:: :sunny:
Brier Rose - don't regret not starting sooner. You had to do it when you personnally were ready to committ. Just keep up the great work. It is so personally satisfying!
Baileymouse - What can I say? Wow! 100 lbs gone! You go girl!
JoshMom5- ONEderland?! I'm so happy for you!
ScrappinMickey - you stick with it! It's gonna "look good on you"!
AprilN- how about changing your caloric intake by day. Maybe you can fool your body into keeping its metabolism rate up. There's a very interesting article at http://groups.msn.com/pointingmywaytoanewlife/theoriginalwendieplan.msnw
I am happy to report a 1.5 lb loss for the week! That brings my 2 week total on WW to 4.5 lbs! .5 more and I'll finally get a number on my clippee! I'm going to get a minimum of 4 days of exercise in this week. And I'm going to try to vary my points per day, with some high, some low and see how my body reacts to that.
Lets keep up the great work everyone! :teeth: ::yes::

This morning when I weighed in, I had lost 1 more pound, so I've earned my first clippie! Also this makes 3 weeks of regular exercise, and no cheating so far! Even though I only lost 1 pound, I'm noticing more room in my clothes, so I think that the exercise is adding muscle, which is making me slimmer. Maybe I should start taking measurements as well.

Congratulations to everyone who lost or maintained! Good job :p
I unfortunately have to report a gain... but only a slight gain of 0.2 lbs. I guess I'll just have to be a little more careful with what I eat this week :)
