Woohoo! :bounce:
Called MS on Friday for DLP on 14th July. I got my night at Sequoia Lodge with no problem.
So this will be our first Disney stay with DVC points. And our first chance to see the fireworks at DLP. (they only do them during the summer).
I'll say hi to the Main Street Electrical Parade from you!

Congrats on getting DLP with so little notice!! I would love to hear what you think of the park. Have you ever been before? My DH and I are going for our 10yr anniversary in Sep. We are staying on points at the Newport Bay Resort. We're going to have 3 full days there, but we might take a 1 day trip to Paris to see a few of the sights. Hope you have a great time and would love a trip report when you get back.

Hi Suzy,
I know the park pretty well, you can mail me privately with questions.
I should think 2 days will be ok for the park and take 1 day for Paris.

Enjoy your trip as DVC owners! Isn't July 14 Bastille Day in France? I wonder if they do anything special at the park. Have fun!

I think 2 days at DLP and one in Paris would be fine. We did the coachtrip organised from the consierge at the hotel. I thought it was a pretty good trip with some excellent photo opportunities. Are you flying to Paris , staying in Europe or going from London ? If from London I can strongly recommend taking the Eurostar train, by far the best way to travel to DLP from London.

Hi Everybody,
Thanks for the good advice. We are flying into Paris and will take the RER out to Disneyland Paris. Vernon, thanks for the info about the day trip through the concierge, thats the one we are planning on taking. Unfortunately this will be a quick trip. My DH has never been to Europe, but we only have a few vacation days left. The good news is I work for and airline here so hopefully this will be the begining of some wonderful trips. Thanks again,
