Luck was on my side. Because of my husband's work, he wasn't sure whether or not he will be able to get our usual 3 week vacation in the summer, so we've decided to go on a trip during the kid's springbreak. It just worked out that my nephew's hockey team is on a road trip through southern California at the same time. (My reasoning for getting to Southern California). My husband agreed that it would be a great chance to see him play and airfare to LAX is much cheaper than to Anchorage where my nephew's hockey team resides.

So a trip to watch a couple of hockey games and a side trip to see Mickey is the end result. After going on the Disney Cruise in 2002 and WDW the year before that I never expected to see anything Disney so soon. Hubby was Disneyed out after the cruise. The kids and I could live there if we had the chance.

Now we have a chance to trade all those pins we bought when the Disneystore was clearing them out.

Only 2 1/2 months to go....

Since you have already been to WDW I hope you are not disapointed in DL. It's a great way to get a small Disney fix, but really, there is no comparison. DL will fit in the parking lot of the MK in WDW. Any way, there is still lots to do and see. Hope you have a great time.

Yes, we've been to Disneyland before. We're looking forward to DCA, it wasn't even built the last time we were there. Big or small I'll take Disney in any size.

After many trips to WDW we stayed 9 nights at the GCH Concierge in DL. What a nice change! We had a great time-hope you do too-We liked DCA alot because it was so different.
Have a great time!

DL might seem small, but when I was at MK in WDW, all i kept thinking was, wow, everything is so crowded here. I liked the spacing of Epcot and even AK more.

Have a great time!

My sister (who lives near Nanaimo) just got back from Disneyland. It was a Christmas present from her inlaws. I am waiting to hear what she, her husband and 2 boys (ages 10 & 12) thought, having never been to either WDW or DL before. She knows how much I love WDW and that I hope to get to DL one day too.

Hope you have a great trip!
