Thanks for the reply about HRH on my "recommend a hotel" thread. But I'm confused. What is the Entertainment (book) and where do I get one?) I might be willing to spend $150 if you can lead to to further information.

Thanks for the link Barry. There's a lot of printable coupons for around home, plus the ability to access offers nationwide.

I just learned about the Entertainment Book/rates recently thanks to JessicaR and others who wrote about their great deals here on this board.

What I did was buy a local (Baltimore/DC) book. With the book you get a card. Even though Loew's was not listed as one of the participants in my book, I called Loew's central reservations and asked for the Entertainment rate for the dates I wanted. I lucked out and was able to get a room at the $117 rate for March 9 thru the 11th (a weekend). She at first was offering me the same room (garden view) at a much higher - I think $169 or $179 rate.

Then you should also sign up to be a Loew's first member, which entitles you to an upgrade (if available at check-in) and other perks such as a bottle of wine, basket of fruit, or cookies and milk upon check-in, plus a daily newspaper and choice of smoking or non-smoking room.

We just stayed at the Portofino for two nights recently and loved it! We felt very pampered and relaxed. Since we had front-of-the-line access all day, we didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn to get into the parks early. We did everything at our leisure, and were able to take the time to enjoy our room and resort.

Hope this helps. :)

I have booked a room with the E card rate at HRH for March. Will you tell me more about the Lowe's member deal now? I do not know anything about that!
Again, I appreciate all of you telling me about the E card deal. It is great!!
