The $80 is for the race....you have to pay to participate. You do get a tshirt and there is a ceremony following the race. Most races do charge an entry fee.

I do believe that myself and Grumpylilsis (Donna) will be joining you. I just need to discuss a few more things with her and we would definitely like to stay at Pop Century. I need to do more reading about things. I will probably have many questions for you. Hope that is ok?

Decaff-Bemidji, MN?! I go to school at UMD (Duluth), and my family lives down in Burnsville, south of Minneapolis. So nice to see another Minnesotan on here... Of course, I suppose we probably like to get away moreso than others! :sunny:

there is no deadline to register by, but they does close registration when it is full - and usually that's pretty fast. If you're gonna do it, I'd suggest you get in there and register. Have you checked DIs Marathon site yet? If it doesn't say that registration is closed, then they are still taking applications. Good Luck!

I am also glad to see a fellow Minnesotan here. I am going to run /walk the 1/2 in Jan. 2005. I am Surprising my family with this trip at Xmas. My son goes to St. Cloud State . I have a bunch of family in Mpls. Spring takes so long to come in the Arrowhead. We have dead grass and 20 degrees daily. It will come , we know it will and it will be worth waiting for. Hope to see you in WDW. I will be wearing something to identify a Minnesota Native on the race day. Good luck.

You may be- but don't stop checking back. If I recall correctly, last year they closed registration and then opened it again to allow more people to register. Good Luck!

If everyone got the email today from the Marathon Weekend, then you saw the races for the kids on Saturday morning. I entered my Haley in the 100 yard dash for 1-2 year olds. It sounds adorable!
