Hilton Head - bugs?

We are thinking of going to HH with our 3 yr old daughter either the end of Aug or beg of Sept. We had a horrible experience at Kiawah 2 yrs ago with bugs - what are the bugs like at HH?

Also any recommendations/info would be appreciated - esp for 3 yr old!

Just got home today from Disney's Hilton Head Resort. Never had a problem with bugs. Think it was too hot for them.

Haven't been to the Disney Resort there yet but have been in HH in September. No bug problem at all. Golfing was great, too!

I'd check out Tommy's page on HH. It really has so much information, including a page ion the bugs @ HH. By the way, I'm going to be there the week of 9-2 with my family. Maybe we'll see you there. Have a great trip whenever you decide to go. The resort is beautiful.:cool:
