Well I finally made the commitment----we're headed to DL. Flight is booked--Hotel is reserved ( anaheim Hilton and Towers). Now all the ?'s
1. How far is the hotel from DL?---walking distance?

2. might it be better to get an annual pass for a great rate at one of the Disney hotels?:bounce: :jester:

3. we are flying into Orange County--the best shuttle service that will tansport wheel chairs?:bounce:

4. are there any small grocery stores close--I like pepsi but Disney likes coke---so I need to pack my own pop. :pinkbounc

5.We are going to get hopper passes but might an Ap be better -----your thoughts please. DD will be traveling to DL with her chamber orchestra for a preformance and "to make a demo tape". As a proud parent--this orchestra has won 3 gold medals in international competition--I guess they are VERY good---so I thought an AP might pay for it self.

6. Please any info on the hotel, as I know nothing about this resort.

:) :) :bounce: :pinkbounc :bounce: :pinkbounc :bounce: I'm so excited-----doing the disney dance!!!!!!!

Can't answer most of your questions, but I'll tell you what I know...

I stayed at the Anaheim Hilton and Towers last year and it was lovely. Nice hotel, well-landscaped with a good location. It is close to the convention cneter. You could walk, but I would probably take the shuttle. It's about a 15 minute walk, but it can be quite hot and a nice air conditioned shuttle sounds good...

From what I remember there isn'rt a whole lot to walk to. They do have a Marriott across the street and I can't remember which one the Hilton or the Marriott but one has a pizza hut fast food style and the other has a nice coffee shop/deli for food. They also have Krispy Kreme donuts if you are into it like I am. I'm sorry I don't remember which has which.

Have fun!
