We are in the process of finalising plans to come on over to England in October. I'm so excited to see the really good friends I have there. DH and I are staying with friends in Harlaston and traveling around a bit to visit other friends we have there. DH is a Mason here in the States and his lodge and a lodge there does a visit every year. Our British friends were here in October and we will fly to them this year. I'm terrified to fly but can't wait. We will have a VERY busy week...but is there anything we MUST see while there that isn't obvious to us tourists???? I'm mostly looking forward to just visiting with our friends...but out best friend there wants to know what we would like to do. Any ideas?? Thanks for your help.

Hi Kathy!
It sounds like you have a wonderful trip planned, I'm sure you'll have a great time! :)
There are so many fantastic places to visit here it's hard to know where to start.
A lot depends on how much time you are spending over here and how far you are prepared to travel whilst here.
I'm sure some others will come along with some more helpful advice!

Where is Harleston? If we know where you will be staying it will narrow the things you can do abit...especially if you will be going with british friends....we dont go in for that 10 hour round trips to visit london and York in the same day....so please tell us what county you will be staying in and maybe everyone can dish out ideas that will keep you visiting until christmas

Hi thanks....Harlaston is in Staffordshire. We will be staying from Saturday Oct 2 - Monday Oct 11.
We have so many friends there we would love to stay forever. Actually our best friend there is contemplating moving his family over here in the next three years :hyper: .
Love all of our British friends we've made...some from real life and some from online friendships we have made...just wish we weren't all so far apart:(
