I'm going to really disappoint some people here....

Well, I took a "me" day at Disneyland on Saturday.

Drove down by myself and did what I wanted to do including......

<b>DANCING</b>, if you can call it that, in the Parade of Stars. Yep, I managed to beg and plead my way into the show. I wanted to dance with Timon, but instead took up the rear with the other rope holders and danced with those silly penguins. This was Saturday in the 8 PM show in case anyone I know here happened to be at Disneyland as well.

I had a <b>most excellent</b> time.

And I know some people are going to be disappointed because I am sure they wanted to see TheLionKing dance... and this may be the only time I will dance at Disneyland.

I almost went to Disneyland yesterday, but was enjoying vegging around my house too much. I would have loved to grab a pic of you dancing with the penguins so I could post it here. Well, there's always next time! ;)

LK! We were at DCA yesterday for dinner and a few rides for an early Father's Day since Tim has to leave today. We didn't make it to DL but had I KNOWN you were there we would have made the effort. Glad you had fun! :D

Actually the penguin always covered his eyes when I approached after the first dancing attempt.....

What kind of message was he making with that?

As for a repeat performance, I don't think they like you to get in another parade to give the opportunity to other guests, but now that I have a connection, Jeff, who is one of the "dance" coaches, we can get more DISers into the parade.

My decision to try to get into the parade was made literally at 7 PM, when I was deciding between going to my car to get some pins versus finding a spot for Fantasmic. Actually, I wouldn't have mind having a photo memory of that event.
