I've been wishing for snowy weather for a while now and we got it. The bad part is it changed to freezing rain last night and is just raining and melting today. Oh well, maybe we'll get more later this season.

Wintry pic's, burrrrr. Lovely but burrr.

Bare ground here, but double burrrr highs for today low 20's. Now if thats not cold enough by Saturday their saying high's in the low teens.
Great Football weather, GO PATRIOTS!, looks like single digit temps at game time.

Will I be attending the game? No! Not me! I'm a fair weather fan. I'll be at home with my blankie and pillow, watching the game, and when the TV scans the fan be looking for my frozen SIL.

I love how woodsy it is at your place, Mary! :) A dream of mine (a green dream..lol), to have a lot like that someday. :)

You got a taste, but you want more, right? :) We don't have that much snow, and what we do have, is rock hard!

Thank you for sharing your pics with us! :)

Right Kim, there is never enough snow for a long enough time and my house. Of course, I'm not all that interested in moving somewhere to get that kind of snow. :p Our dream is to have a vacation place on the other side of WA, on a lake, that would give us snow in the winter and sun in the summer.

Beautiful pictures!!
But for a Tn. girl I'd rather just look at your pictures than live in it.
I don't think I would survive. But I bet your tulips are wonderful. Mine are kinda droopy, not having a real good cold snap to make them bloom so pretty.
Show some more so I can live vicariously thru your window!!
Thanks,
D :wave2:

Welcome to the F&G board, Desi! :)

Careful what you say, you may put a weather jinx on yourself! ;) You could end up with perky Tulips afterall! :)

Poking around this board a bit this evening and found this particular thread. Seems that I missed this it first time around.

Isn't it amazing? This winter was so awful, for me at least, that you think looking at these pixs would make me want to quickly close the thread and run to parts south. However, I enjoyed the photos more than I expected I would.

But I am glad that signs of Spring are now starting to show in this neck of the woods.

Perhaps I enjoyed the photos because I know that those days for now are over. (x'd fingers)

....and, of course, I will be heading to parts south of here in about 20 days. That helps too! :D
