My sister and I just decided yesterday to spend the week of December 13-21 at Universal and Disney with our two husbands and five children YAYAYAY! Does anyone have any recommendations for a vacation home that will fit us all for a decent price? We would all like to stay together and have a kitchen available to us. We'll go the cheaper hotel room with fridge and microwave if necessary, but we would really like to have somewhere special to stay. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am staying at a rental home right now, its south aways off of Poinciana in Kissimmee but at least its quiet, the rates are pretty good too, the owner has two homes, I'm in the smaller one and he has organized a discussion board with other house owners from the US and UK, the addy is :Orlando Villas (http://www.orlandovillas.com)

Here is a LINK (http://www.orlandotripplanner.com/vacationhomes/rental.htm) for a couple of nice homes with private pools. I think there is a review or two on that site about them as well. THe link also has a link to a private chef service who will deliver prepared meals for you to store in the frig and heat/serve when you need them OR they will come and cook right for you there in the villa. I've used Creative Kitchens on my last trip to the Boardwalk villas and it was wonderful. Certainly an usual treat.

I've stayed at several vacation homes and condos in the Orlando area. Unfortunately they are all in the Disney area and not in the USF area. I took the chance because I loved the private pool and the space.

I've used www.1st4Floridahomes.com, www.elitevacationhomes.com and www.closesttodisney.com, all great experiences.

Great link! I usually stay on site, but this info is great for relatives.
