Ques about Albums

Where do you buy your albums at. I've purchased one through CM and two thourgh Michaels. I like the look of the CM ones a little better but the smaller 8x11 1/2 album is $28!!!

I buy all my albums,except for Disney albums, at Michaels. You have to love those 40% off coupons. I get my Disney albums at the parks or my LSS.

I think that quality and safety are the most important things to consider when it comes to choosing an album. I'd rather save money on less stickers or paper. Therefore, I would only buy my albums from Creative Memories.

I buy mine from a scrap book store. I buy Forever yours and love it! It is a very high quality album that looks great and can expand. Plus it is top loading too which is wonderful for me!

Depends on what I'm using the album for. I also love the CM Albums, but most of my albums are purchased with coupons. Love those 40-50% off coupons.

I also like working on the 12x12 albums. A good leather expandable album can be pricey, now tack on the price of the page protectors.

I recently finished my vacation album to Italy. A beautiful leather bound expandable album with forty 12x12 pages. Between the album, page protectors, paper, embellishments, die cuts and the price to have the photo's developed, I probably could have taken another trip.

Bought 7 albums at Michael's with 40% off coupons....2 have fallen apart over the years....

Got fed up with less than superior albums for all the work I poured into them and started investing in Creative Memories albums...best choice I have ever made regarding scrapbooking....loved the product so much, I became a consultant to get the discount for myself and my friends and family.

All of my Kids chronological albums, my wedding albums, and my family albums are CM 12X12 LOVE THEM LOVE THEM LOVE THEM even though they are expensive! I have to say that I did not realize how many pages you can put in each album until I say CrazyforPooh's album! Based on that I need to rearrange mine and I probably won't need to buy another for each of the two kids for a while!

My Theme albums (Trip album, All About Me, etc..) I have used Mike's 12X12 Staphindge albums.

Gift albums I use whatever strikes my fancy at Mikes (Colorblok top loading right now but don't love it)

Disney I used there 12X12 - but the inside of the binding already is broken and it isn't much over a year old!

I've started using Mrs. Grossman's and like them. I only do top-loading now so I don't do the CM ones. I just don't care for strap hinge, though that's what I was originally taught with. The only one's I routinely hear not-so-good reports about are the Pioneers. Which I used to use before I got smarter. :p
