Mickey Mouse Christmas T-Shirt

I was just hanging up my new Mickey Mouse Christmas t-shirt (the red one with Mickey's face and Santa hat in velvet stuff and Walt Disney World in white glittery letters) and I saw that the velvet stuff had come off on two parts of my shirt! :(

The shirt had a tag on it that said it was safe to wash! I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem? I am very sad as I only wore it one time while I was at WDW.

There were 4 of us and we each got one and also 2 sweatshirts and all of them have the green felt/velvet coming off. We are also very dissapointed!:( Needless to say, I have told my 2 kids not to spill anything on it because they can't get washed again!

They are cute t-shirts! I almost didn't get one because you can only wear it for a month, but then I thought I might as well, because I live in Texas and short sleeve t-shirts come in handy sometimes in December!

So sorry to hear about your shirt. We were in Disney for New Year's Eve and saw the shirts but did not buy them. I would definately try a few things. First I would call Disney Merchandising (from the parks - not sure of the number but I have seen it on this website) and tell them about it, if that does not work then I would try a Disney Store in your area (if there is one). I know you can return items from WDW to the stores with a receipt. I would try this even if you do not have the receipt. If neither of these work, you might bring it with you the next time you visit Disney. I sure you are not the only ones this happened to.

I had purchased some PJ's at the Disney Store and they shrunk so much after one washing that I could not wear them anymore. I was able to get a store credit for them when I complained.
