ummm.... wasn't impressed. I know today was their first day, but they are more expensive than the other options in this area. Patterned paper was 75 cents no matter who made it.... no making memories stuff.... they did carry quite a few rubber stamps tough, I'm sure I'll be back for those at some point. (again, they seemed kind of pricy even on those). On the bright side, I didn't spend any money there today. :D Guess I'll be sticking with the drive to fairfax and chantilly. (and I was really excited to have a store 5 minutes from my house!!!!) Maybe with time it will improve...... maggie

Isn't that a bummer!?!? They finally opened a shop near my house and I wasn't impressed I would rather drive 40 minutes to get really neat and interesting things! But I think with time our local store will improve!

I love my LSS. She carries a lot of product lines, She also tries to keep her prices down in order to keep her merchandise moving so she can keep it fresh.

Chessie, your prices are much cheaper than any down here. You're luck in that respect. I wish it weren't a 45 minute drive or I'd be up there more often.

I frequent the Second Floor Scrapbook Store. ( www.secondfloorscrapbookstore.com ) It is located in Eldersburg, inside of the Carrolltown Center. This past summer she opened a stamping store just across the mall from the scrapbook store. I don't stamp per say but I use a lot of stamping supplies in my scrapping. There is also talk of the scrapbook store getting bigger. I have thought of organizing a DIS crop meet there for those that are within driving distance. Maybe in the spring.
