Port Aventura/ Spanish villa holiday help needed

Hope someone out there can advise.

We want to stay for a week in the summer in a large villa with a private pool - 5 or 6 bedrooms preferably - within reasonable reach of the Universal park Port Aventura and Barcelona. An hour or so drive to each would be OK. We're not worried about proximity to the sea. Rural or close to one of the big resorts would be fine.

I've been searching on the web but I don't seem to be able to find much - or the ones I can find are not too clear about their actual location. Does anyone know of any good websites?

Im sorry we haven't been able to come up with anything so far Edie - do check out www.holidays-uncovered.co.uk Friends of mine booked a trip to Sorrento using advice from this site since the advice is impartial.

You can buy villa magazines with details of renting villas directly from the owner (one is called Private Villas)from WH Smith etc.

Although there are hundreds in there for Spain,there are very few for that area of Spain,I know I've looked for myself before!
