Jillpie,
We will be at WDW from 1/10 - 1/17. We are trying out Pop Century on the 10th and 11th and then switching over to CBR. We love the Caribbean, so we are excited to try out this resort. I CAN'T WAIT!!! We have been packed for weeks - no, I am not exaggerating. My DH keeps dancing around the house singing, "I'm going to DisneyWorld, DisneyWorld, DisneyWorld..."

Cool everybody. I have luggage sprawled out over the whole living room. We have had so much going on lately with Christmas and my Dad's 80th surprise birthday party last night (with limo and all, how fun). But now I can really get down to business. Its last minute shopping today and packing, packing packing! The kids are getting dismissed at 11:00 on Friday and off to a 3:00 flight out of Logan airport!!!!!

Have a great time Jillpie! As of tomorrow, I will officially be doing the single-digit dance! DD and I went shopping today because she decided to tell me this morning that her bathing suit is now too small! The gods were with us and we found a cheapo one at Marshalls! Yeah!
I did some packing today. DS has had the bad flu for a week, with it turning into pnuemonia this past Friday, so our Christmas vacation was spent getting thru that! He is actually doing great today as we tried another antibiotic and it is working. Doc said he should be A-OK by next week! Keep your fingers crossed!

Everyone I saw this weekend kept saying, "If I don't see you before you leave, have a great time!!" - now I'm really excited!
EARLY Sat morning for us! I haven't started packing yet :earseek: !
I figure I'll drag out the suitcases tomorrow morning after everyone goes back to work/school and get started. My sister's family and my dad have all been soooo sick with the flu - I've been delivering meals to the door - and I've been sucking zinc/echinacea lozenges for the last two days - flu stay away!!!
So far the weather forecast looks pretty good - 60s in the day - yesterday it was 59 here and I was out taking down the Xmas decorations in a t shirt - I can deal with that - hoping for at least a few days in the 70s so we can swim!:smooth: (at least it will finally be turning cold at home while we're there!)

Thanks everybody for all your warm wishes! Just got home from church, asked the pastor for a family blessing and now know that we'll have a safe trip:D !
Harambe, so sorry to hear about your son, but isn't it great it didn't happen next week!
bjakmom, get those luggage pieces down and get to work, thats the fun part! Seems endless sometimes, remembering so many details...but once Friday comes, the packing stuff is over and the fun starts, oh yea baby!!!!!

As I dropped 3 of my daugters off at school today, I tried to get them out of their "blahs" by reminding them that our WDW trip was coming soon! After I got to the office, I got to thinking about it, and I got excited too! Just needed to see my countdown timer . . . we're almost inside a month!!!:D

I'm so jealous of all your countdowns. I'm trying to convince DH to go now since the exchange rate is so fantastic. So far no luck. :(

Well, now I can get even more excited than I was before. I got the call that I was waiting for from DVC. We got the 2 bedroom dedicated for the middle of our stay that we needed to complete our reservation (we had a lockoff 2 br, so we were going to have to move). So now its done!! I have to go completely pack now and its just three more days now!!!!:bounce:

Have soooooo much fun, Jillpie! I just checked Accuweather.com and the weather for the next fifteen days looks beautiful! Yes - a little on the cool side, but sunny and nights will be clear for Illumination, Fantasmic, etc. The only times it said rain, were days/nights we planned on staying at AKL!
I'll look skyward on Friday at 3:00 - and wave up to you guys!

Thank you so much! Its just one more week for you, so hang on! :D Yes, I've been watching the weather sites for a week now, twice a day. I'm SO excited there's no snow here in Boston (well, south of Boston). That was my biggest fear. But its going to be SOOOOOO cold here for the next week. No worries here, I'll be in sunny Florida!! So have a great trip down and watch for the lime green on a DW fanny pack!!!
