I also just turned to the big four oh and boy it hit hard. Well Ms. 40, a question please - what type of rate did you have concerning the upgrade. Did they say that was why they did not have one?

My rate was $135/night poolview. They did not say that upgrades were unavailable due to my rate. They said no suites were available but that I could have club for an additional $65/night. I think if a suite were available I would have been told that it would be X more. Now that I think about it, I probably was not offered a free upgrade due to my rate and the high occupency for the hotel that evening.
