Is anyone else glad that the holidays are over? I've had a hard time keeping myself in routine and on program over the past month. I'm sure glad it's a new year and the parties with tempting foods are over!! (for a while at least).
Anyone else glad it's over?
Happy New Year everyone!

Yep!! I'll fess up. I too am glad the holidays are over. There--I've said it!
I love the holidays, but from Thanksgiving to New Years, it's just so hard to stick to plan. Way too many temptations and way too little willpower! :p

I love the holiday.......but the food temptations are just too much for me to handle. I have until Sunday until I am done as my birthday is this weekend and we have one final celebration planned. So come Monday morning you will be hearing me sigh with relief, I am so ready to get back on track.

I do love the holidays but I'm a little happy they are over because now I have no excuses to not have time to exercise and the food temptations will go away (well at least at family gatherings)!

Even tho the scale only went up a few lbs (still under what doc recommended) I have been feeling more blah. Not only due to the holidays but winter is here.
Went out and took (3) 1/2hr walks yesterday. Today it's snowing. I may make more of an effort to walk around the outside of a store today just to get in some walking.
We're going away Martin Luther wknd and I need to feel good in a bathing suit!
Good luck everyone

I love the holidays, but it will be nice to not have so much temptation and to get back into a routine. I have one Holiday party left on 1/9/04, but she usually has lots of WW'er friendly items since she does it too. Last year at her party, it was so easy to stay "on program".

I also love the Holiday's but the food temptations like others have said is the problem. I am glad that all of our get togethers are over with. I am cleaning out the frig and cleaning up the counter tops. The birds and squirrels should enjoy their meal today.:D

I do love the holidays but I am glad all that food temptation is gone. I stayed on my program, but keeping away from the cookies and pies etc was tough.

I agree with everyone else. It is good to be back on track and as with Tammy, my birds and squirrels are feasting well here too.

I agree, I love the holidays, but I'm always really happy to take down the decorations and return to a normal schedule. The only thing is this year for some reason we have loads of chocolate. Most of it belongs to my DD's, who don't really eat too much of it. However, they would be really upset with me if I gave it away. So I guess the temptations are still going to be around for a while
